Guest guest
Hi Bee, I thought I would give an update on my progress so far. I joined the group just one month ago and have gradually made changes to conform to your program. My diet was already close and the major changes were eliminating grains and adding coconut oil. I also had to add some supplements such as vit. C, B vitamins, vit. E, and chlorella. I had been on various candida diets for a year already and had used cultured veggies for two months prior. The following positive changes have occurred: 1. No more bloated stomach, and much less gas. 2. A group of red spots on my foot has cleared up (I believe they were due to liver congestion). 3. Constant hunger is gone (due to adding coconut oil and eliminating grains). 4. My vulvar irritation is now very minimal. That was my primary complaint to begin with (a problem that goes back nearly 5 years). 5. My tongue is no longer white in the back. 6. My athlete's foot has totally cleared up. I had other symptoms that cleared up on my previous diets, such as depression, itchy skin, and urinary problems. I'm thrilled to see progress now that I'm on your program. Thanks so much for providing this forum and for all your wonderful work. Jan p.s. My one remaining annoying symptom is a right arm that is sore in the shoulder and tends to cramp very easily in certain positions. I would appreciate any encouragement anyone has regarding this type of problem. I am on magnesium and calcium already.

I'm not sure if anyone else in the group practices Tai Chi? One of the 'warm up' exercises I have on my video helps with relieving stress in the shoulders, neck and a general pick up (especially if you spend time sitting at a computer). Here goes (I'll try to word this as best I can): Circling Arm Movement (not sure of the correct Tai Chi terminology!) Place your right leg on the ground beneath you and bend your knee a little. Place your left leg about one foot infront of your right foot, a little bent too, but comfortable, balanced stance. With your right arm, palm facing upwards, begin to raise your arm towards the ceiling. As your arm approaches the ceiling level (straight above your body), twist your palm around so that it is facing backwards and then complete the circular movement to the front of your body. (Also good for Raynaud's - in the fingers). Do this as fast as you can for at least 50 circles each day...on both sides of the body. Only takes less than a minute. Change the foot stance for the left arm. That is, place your left leg under your body and your right leg a foot infront and then circle your left arm. If you hear clicking noises, then you need to keep doing it until the clicking noises stop...I mean only 50 each side a day though. The clicking noises will go away eventually. I know this probably sounds all hippy freaky but truly, I would recommend it to anyone, even being the only exercise you get all day. Also, with your shoulder...try sitting or standing up straight. Raise your shoulders up as tense as you can for say 10 seconds and then let them down fast, like you are releasing the tension. A few times, or whenever you want to. It does help, truly. Same for the entire body, stand up and reach up as high as you can, on your toes and really stretch, with your finger tips pointed to the ceiling, then come down quickly to the front to release tension. Ok, sorry. Did I get carried away? LOL But truly these simple things done every day can really help. Gosh, you're all probably going to think that I am some Tai Chi promoting person! LOL I'm not! Just know that these simple things are great for everyone and especially for Jan with arm and shoulder probs. Jen )
Guest guest
Hi Jen: Thanks for the exercises, I will try them. It just happens that I recently participated in an intro to Tai Chi and will hopefully be taking a class that will be offered in my area in the very near future. I have a great appreciation for what other cultures have to teach regarding the mind, body and spirit, and especially food... I'm glad you were encouraged by my update. I had many very bad months early on in my war against candida, so I hope to show others that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe Bee's program is very effective.
