Guest guest Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 The only coconut oil I have found at the health food store isn't kept in the fridge. It's on the shelf and still looks solid (doesn't swish around in the jar). Is there a brand that is good/reliable? Your email said it should be liquid. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> The coconut oil I use isn't found in the fridge-comes in a gallon jug right to my front door. I use Tropical Traditions and always have. In the winter it is solid and now that the temps are rising outside it is liquid. Coconut oil is like that-I have forgotten the point at which it solidifies, maybe below 72 degrees or 76, but it will liquify if you put it in a jar and warm that in a pot on the stove. That is what I do. The website for tropical traditions has a lot of info about the oil on it even if you don't purchase theirs--check it out. Dawn in SC Quote
