Bot caught in feedback loop...

What is all this junk? And if you want to unsub, there's the right address.

What we've got here is a listbot caught in a feedback loop... Someone has

either accidentally or maliciously signed up an automated service to this

list, and it's now responding to every single message, including its own.

It will continue to do this and flood us with *hundreds* of emails until the

list owner forcibly unsubscribes it.

Erm... kind of when something causes itself to happen, like a dog chasing

its own tail going round & round in circles. Whatever this automated service

is, it's set up to automatically reply to any emails it receives. So every

time it receives one from this list, it replies - to this list! groups

then sends it back its own message... which it immediately replies to.

Again, and again, and again...

Looks like the list owner is very efficient though & has already stopped it.

The last time I saw this happen we got well over a thousand junk messages!!

Okay got it! Yes, Moderator seems to get on it quick! I have seen where

each message came through dozens or hundreds of times however Never with

the fAX type thing even so it has been a long time!!
