hi , hope that song's out of your head by now!!!

i almost fell asleep in my math class today. You know, the end of the semester

is always really hard. I have class Thurs., and then Tues. I have a chapter test

and a final exam.

After that, I'll be able to rest.

yeah...hypoglycemic for many years. I thought I was gonna pass out at one point

today...nauseated...felt the same after i eat.

they had a health fair on campus today, and I got my sugar level checked on hour

after eating. it was fine.

yeah, i wonder if i might have some adrenal fatigue going on...am thinking of

buying the test online. but I HATE buying things online...gonna have to see if I

can mail a check. I want to buy from a reputable company...

anyway, today was really awful. I had a psycho who was coming after me. I went

to my bus stop as usual. about one minute before my bus was due to arrive, this

man comes over. I had my mace in my hand, of course,...always ready. He gets out

some cologne and sprays himself several times (very odd thing), and then starts

walking toward me.

I start walking away from him...he keeps coming toward me. just as I was about

to ditch my backpack and run across the street to the Walgreen's, I saw the bus

coming.

i started running toward the bus. it was stopped in traffic. the bus driver let

me on, and that psycho followed me. i felt somewhat safe being on that bus with

the big burly bus driver. then the psycho sat across from me.

I moved toward the back...toward the other exit door. He followed me. I yelled

to the bus driver, " This creep is following me...help me get him away from me.

The psycho backed off and went back toward the front.

The bus driver adjusted his mirror and was watching carefully. I was watched the

psycho carefully. I had my cell phone in one hand (ready to call police) and

mace in the other with my finger on the trigger, in full view like when I was

outside. He couldn't miss it.

He was going for his sock. i was afraid he had a knife...then rummaging around

in his jacket. He was looking at me the whole time. I was watching his hands.

When other people started getting on board, he was making crazy comments...like,

" Did you kill my grandmother? " and asking people if it was Louisville time this

morning or Los Angeles time...he was bothering everyone.

the bus driver told him if he said another word he would put him off the bus.

the guy said he was going to the court house...i was facing being on this bus

with him the entire 45 min. ride.

I was scared to get off the bus...afraid he would get off with me or at the next

stop and follow me. I was praying.

about halfway to school, he rang the bell to get off. It took him 2-3 minutes to

walk off the bus...the driver almost had to kick him off.

anyway, i think this whole incident just stressed me to the max. I was

crying...very anxious...nauseated. I almost went home but I was too afraid. I

just wanted to be in my safe home.

anyway, the stress I think just zapped my energy.

i'm better now...

take care, Susie Q!!!! ((hugs to you)) sheila

Hi Sheila ~

I know that song :o) " & soon you'll be walking out the door! "

Uh-oh, sounds like you are exhausted - you need more sleep kiddo!!!! It sounds

like hypoglycemia or adrenals - don't you have suspicions that your adrenals may

be needing some help? I was reading that sleep really helps cortisol levels.

Hope you feel better!

I wonder about this disease as a kid as well -- I always needed more sleep than

others, would tire very easy, got migraines as a teen, circulation was awful -

feet & hands were always cold - kinda purple in color -- with little orange

spots.

Are you better today? -- hope so!!!

take care ~ hugs for you!

p.s. Oh, ...... & thanks for getting that song stuck in my head Sheila!!!!! :o)

one foot in front of the other

hi all...just a quick post. I'm between jobs and energy is so low.

when I first came home i just rested for a few minutes. I decided to

exercise because so many times exercising gives me a huge boost. the

first 5 min. were really hard...then felt better. Now, after only a

15 min. workout, I just feel so low...a little dizzy. maybe my sugar

dropped. i ate some turkey, carrots, and corn-on-cob. hopefully that

will kick in soon and i'll feel better.

maybe all the stress this week from getting ready for a chapter test

and finals is taking its toll. dunno.

anyway, you guys here can relate to how I'm feeling, I'm sure.

I feel like just curling up in bed and staying there for a long,

long time. i gotta just keep putting one foot in front of the other

(my slogan since I was about 10 years old)...gotta earn a

living...not give in to bad days.

i sure do wonder if i had this disease as kid. I just remembered how

I used to sing that song over and over...while walking, riding my

bike, getting ready for school... " just one foot in front of the

other... "

even way back then I used to wonder how I would get through each

day...you know??

anyone else feel like that as a kid too?

gotta go to work...take care guys. sheila

I wanted to ask you how long after taking digestive enzymes did you notice

any changes?

I keep forgetting to take mine at every meal. Hopefully I'll get into a routine

Also, any luck with that doctor's office you were gonna call (the doc who RX's

Armour)?

Hi Sheila!

It wasn't a dramatic change that I noticed with the digestive enzymes (I kept

forgetting to take them too!) It was after a couple of weeks -- I noticed I

wasn't gassy (as I have been since I don't know when......) I recently ran out

- (bad, bad girl) I tend to procrastinate and do things last minute - (has

gotten worse with this hypo thing)..anyone else have that type of behavior???

It's like I need urgency to get stuff done! .......anyway, I've noticed the

" gas is back " ....got to order some more enzymes! I'm still taking the

probiotics.

I haven't called the vitamin Dr. yet -- I keep going back & forth as to if I

should try to work with my present dr. or switch --I see my present Dr. 5/24,

and if he is not going to work with me on the T4 only meds & if he dismisses the

symptoms I'm still having, I'll have to seek care elsewhere....so hard when you

are facing out of pocket expenses after being layed off work...I'm still

optimistic though!

I found I had the energy I needed yesterday -- we went into Boston to Fenway

Park for the Red Sox game .......we had Green Monster Seats -- (very, very

desirable, hard seats to get)... & we had an absolute BLAST! We knew it might be

a " once in a lifetime experience " so we drank it all in...got there early to see

batting practice......I was very concerned that I might get too fatigued and

zone out while there - but my energy level was fine and I was able to enjoy.

Thank goodness! I'm pooped today - after about 5 1/2 hours sleep - I feel best

at 9 hours....Don't know how you do it day in & day out!

Hope you enjoyed your day Sheila--wish I was in charge of the time clock and

could grant your wish of more free time! I'd definitely make weekends last a

lot longer! Did you have a Dr. appt.?

take care,

xoxo

driving to work next week is probably a very good idea!
