All of these same effects have been verified for aspirin as well, only

without the smell. That includes the reduced risk of colon cancer. There

does not seem to be any benefit from combining them with aspirin over

simply increasing the dose, except aspirin doesn't make your food taste

better.

Where did you hear that? My mom was just told to take baby aspirin -- we

bought some for her yesterday. I don't see how it would only help men.

It was an article from About Health, if I am not mistaken. They proved

it only thinned the blood of men and did nothing for women in the way of

preventing heart attacks.
