Guest guest
Dear Group, I have loaded some new files, recipes and links into the left side- bar that you might want to check out. The new link is to research done by Dr. Weston A. Price on the question of balancing acidity and akalinity with foods. The outcome of his research may surprise some of you. I've posted new files too: 1. " All About Buckwheat " 2. " Dry Skin Brushing " - I recommend this be done by every candida sufferer. It is safe and easy to do and is one of the best methods of helping your body detox. It also lessens the load on your liver. 3. " Beef does not putrefy nor is acid-forming " New recipes are for a salad and I posted Robin Reese's recipe for Almond Zucchini Bread. I hope you don't mind Robin. Next weekend I hope to provide some meal plans and examples for those of you struggling with the diet. I would really appreciate any help anyone else can give me on this. Please email your suggestions directly to me. TIA.
Guest guest
Thank for posting my recipe, Bee. I hope, that if anyone tries it they will let me know how it came out. You may contact me personally. I just made it up out of ingredients I thought I wanted to eat. It comes out like a nice cakey bread, almost a pound cake, and is lovely in the morning or when you just want a bite of something. By the way, I just changed my ID to " mydogisdewey " because I couldn't use my old ID for some reason. Have a great weekend! ~Robin
Guest guest
Dear Robin, You are welcome for posting your recipe. It sounds good. I bought some buckwheat flour yesterday to make pancakes. The only buckwheat I had on hand was the groats and pre-mixed pancake that has stuff in it I don't want. Wish I had a grinder like you do. I've been trying to keep my weight on by having some pecan and almond crackers, but I can't tolerate the grains in them, and probably the oil as well. So much for trying to get by without going through the effort of making it myself eh? Robin, if you have any meal plans to help me post in the files next weekend I'd appreciate it. Email me directly if you do. Thanks for your new email too. Now I have to get off the computer and do something else. Take good care, Bee > Thank for posting my recipe, Bee. Guest guest
Hi Bee, That almond bread is how I got all my weight back... In the beginning I would spread either fresh butter or coconut oil on it. You really have to start slowly (as you know!) introducing any new food like almond flour but once you get going it's a little hard to stop. I even have to watch that I don't eat too much. I'm at my right weight. Finally! ~Robin Ps. I didn't notice if you put the links to the almond flour sites in my recipe? Now's a great time to buy almond flour -- it's just being harvested and it keeps really well in the freezer. You have to make sure to keep the bread chilled or frozen too.. But of course, you know all this.... :-) Now I'm off to work too!
