Guest guest
i used to get this dry skin alot. when i stopped drinking alcohol & smoking cigarettes, and then began eating candida diet it really got a lot better. yesterday i noticed my lips were pretty dry, and it reminded me that they haven't been that way for months! now today, after my shower i saw my face in the mirror and its so dry! and my lips are so dry that the skin is white and flaking off! YUCK! i haven't really changed anything about my regimen, except that maybe i ate a bit less good fats for a couple of days, but i was still eating good fat! as i type this i'm wondering if its part of the Hering's law of cures, going backwards through symptoms and dis-eases. last weekend i had a sore throat for about 3 days, no ther sypmtoms of a cold or anything, just a really sore throat. then it was gone. i used to get sore throats when i smoked (i was a " light " smoker, only 2 or 3 in the evenings with my wine or beer - HELLO CANDIDA!) i'm so glad to be over that phase of life! any thoughts on extremely dry skin on face and lips? thanks friends ~ suz
Guest guest
Dear Chef, I'm stumped at the moment about your dry skin. I'm having something similar and I can't figure out what is causing it. In my case it may be an allergic reaction. You might try putting some coconut oil on it and see if that helps. I'm going to try it too. So we can report the results to each other okay? But, like you say it could be Hering's Law regarding going backwards through illnesses, etc. The best, Bee > i used to get this dry skin alot. when i stopped drinking alcohol & > smoking cigarettes, and then began eating candida diet it really got > a lot better. > > yesterday i noticed my lips were pretty dry, and it reminded me that > they haven't been that way for months! now today, after my shower i > saw my face in the mirror and its so dry! and my lips are so dry that > the skin is white and flaking off! I have 2 kids 2 and 4 years old. I have struggled with candida since puberty. My daughter just showed up with full systemic yeast, so I figured it would be good to see what¹s happening in the world of battling candida. As for the above post, I was discussing this issue recently with our care provider because Crispin¹s lips were so dry. He said it is often a very stressed colon that produces dry lips. -- , mom to Harriet 12.15.99 Crispin 01.25.02 heatherette@...
