Guest guest
Hi Bee and Everyone, I have giardia and have had it since I was seven, with particular foods causing flare ups. I'm sick of it, and want to get rid of the terrible symptoms. I'm very tempted to use the antiparasitic drug alinia and hopefully get it over with once and for all. Giardia interferes with my fat digestion, and also the digestion of red meat, making Bee's candida diet very hard to do. Any suggestions? Has anyone had to do this? Herbs haven't been enough and are very hard on my inflammed gut. Has anyone else used an antiparasitic drug? (And had success with it)? (Ending the (for me repeated) horrid, terrible rotten egg burps, food poisoning like experience). ~Emma

Even having giardia you can eat the foods on the diet recommended along with herbs to kill the guardia. In fact the diet is essential for getting rid of guardia as well. Candida also interferes with fat digestion, digestion of meats, all digestion, just like any other parasites or bacteria. Go to the health store and buy the herb combination which contains cloves, black walnut hulls & wormword. Bee
