Bee? Is there anything more I can do while I wait for my skin to improve?

Hi Bee,

I have been taking 50,000 units of Vitamin A (from fish liver oil)

for 18 days since you suggested I do that and doing everything else

you suggested for my extremly dry skin. I will continue to take the

high dose of A until I see improvement in my skin. I am being true to

your diet plan, but am having trouble eating enough calories in a

days time, even with the 5 or more T of coconut oil per day.

I am wondering if there is anything else I can do while I am waiting

for improvement?

My skin is so dry it stings, like little needles all over my skin,

even after I put coconut and/or olive oil on it. My skin feels dryer

than ever, but I realize it takes time to heal, so am hanging in

there.

I am also noticing that my hair gets static electricity all the time

now. Could there be a correlation somehow with the dry skin?

Are you familiar with a Formula F-Plus recipe by Paavo Airola? I was

wondering if you thought it would be ok to make it for my skin.

Here is the recipe:

Formula F-Plus by Paavo Airola

2 T sesame oil

1 T olive oil

2 T avocado oil

2T almond oil

2,000 IU vitamin E, mixed tocopherols

100,000 USP Units vitamin A

A drop of your favorite perfume

Pour the oils into an empty bottle or small jar. Take 10 gelatine

capsules of vitamin E, 200 IU each (or 5 capsules of 400 IU each).

Puncture the capsules with a needle, or cut the ends off with

scissors, and squeeze the contents into the bottle.

Add a drop or two of your favorite perfume, close tightly and shake

well. Keep in the refridgerator. Do not use Eau-de-cologne, but pure

essence of perfume.

Formula F-Plus could be made, of course, without the perfume, if you

don't mind an oily and slightly fishy aroma.

Thanks for all your help Bee. I know my son and I are on our way to

much better health with your plan of action. :-)

I pray all is going well with your father and family.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Hugs and special blessings to you this day,

Debra

==>That's okay, but after one month stop taking it for 2 days and

then continue for another month and so on. That is done to ensure

you do not get too much.

==>You can take baking soda baths (1 cup), or epsom salt baths (1

cup), (or mix baking soda and epsom salts half & half) and also add

coconut oil or extra virgin oil to your bath.

==>You can also spray, or use a cotton ball, to apply baking soda in

water on your skin, alternating with coconut oil - mix 1 heaping

teaspoon of baking soda in 8 ounces of filtered water. Evidently it

is quite helpful for overall itchiness, sking problems and

inflammation.

==>It is better to use coconut oil rather than olive oil. Also

ensure there is enough moisture in the air as well, i.e. humidifier

or boil water on the stove.

==>That indicates the air is quite dry in your environment. Also

having enough ocean sea salt is important, i.e. at least 1 1/2

teaspoon per day in the lemon drink I recommend. You might even need

to take more - taking up to 1 tablespoon per day does not hurt for

short periods of time. If you get too thirsty, take less.

==>Do not take too many showers or baths. It would be best to get a

filter on your shower and bath tap to eliminate the chlorine. They

are well worth the money spent when you have skin problems.

==>Also stay away from flourescent lights, if possible. They sap

your body of vitamin A.

==>This recipe won't help your skin like plain coconut oil will. But

you could use coconut oil instead of the oils listed, and add vitamin

E and vitamin A to it, but don't add perfume. 100% clove oil could

be added instead, and it is also antifungal and very healing.

==>Yes, thanks for asking. My father went by himself to get a

haircut yesterday, which he hasn't been able to do for months! The

doctor took him off blood pressure pills and only has him taking

water pills - I hope to get him changed over to natural diuretics

soon. I also have some ideas to help him with his irregular

heartbeat, especially humming, which increases nitric oxide in the

nose, and to have him practice nose breathing!

Debra, I thought of a couple of other things you can do. Try to

eliminate as much synthetic clothing as possible, i.e. nylon,

polyester, etc., and wear natural fabrics instead, i.e. esp. cotton.

And do not wear panti-hose, or nylon or lycra socks or knee socks.

Also use all cotton bedding; no polyester fillings in pillows or

comforters. Natural goose down pillows are best, and goose down or

cotton filled comforters.

Use bar soap made from coconut oil, and without perfumes and other

toxic substances, and use very little soap when washing your body -

water cleans just fine without soap. Also, get a good shampoo with

very few ingredients from the health store (ingredients you

understand and know what they are), or make your own shampoo - see

Bee's Beauty article in the files.

Use natural laundry soap and no fabric softener sheets. If you get

your clothes dry-cleaned air them outside for 4 hours before putting

them in your closet, or use an environmentally safe dry cleaners.

Do not burn candles, other than pure bees wax, nor use room

deoderants or sprays of any kind.

Make your own safe cleaning supplies. There are many on the internet.

In other words, eliminate as many sources of toxins in your

environment as possible.
