Dear Anne,

Coconut oil is very soothing and healing Anne. You may know this but

it is important that little girls do not have bubble baths. They

should wear 100% cotton underwear and as little polyester slacks as

possible to all the area to breath. Sounds like she has candida

too. Are you treating her as well?

The best,

Bee

i've been using pure unrefined coconut oil. it is a natural candida

fighter. not quite as messy as yogurt! also in the shower, i have an

all nautral liquid soap, infused with some tea tree oil (infused it

myself). maybe try it on yourself first, to make sure you don't have

too strong a batch, then use a little every day (or twice a day) to

cleanse the area. your daughter might get great relief, as tea tree

oil has a cooling effect on the skin. just not too strong a mix!

Dear Bee,

Thanks for the info. Yes, I do know about bubble baths being verboten for

little girls. It's especially true for my daughter as she has urinary tract

reflux and was born with only one kidney (hence the daily antibiotics, hence

the Candida; and yes, I am treating her already for it). We do use coconut

oil as a skin oil; so it will be easy to use it for topical relief of her

internal itching. Thanks for the tip!

She also does wear 100% cotton underwear, and she never ever wears

polyester!

Cheers,

Anne

Dear Anne,

You've got things well in hand with your daughter. Good for you. I

hope the coconut oil helps her itching, etc.

What urinary tract reflux? I've never heard of it before. We will

al be praying for your little girl that she does well and comes out

of this happy and healthy again.
