Guest guest
Pearl, where I get my fish it is cleaned and sliced. If they sell the fish whole maybe they will cut the heads of and gut it for you also? I like to broil my fish because it uses no oil. You can put it in a pan with a little water on the bottom. It is done when the thick part of the fish is white and fluffy in the middle. Please make sure you don't undercook fresh fish. You can get fish tape worm. sorry-yuck! I read that when fish or meats are frozen then the deep freeze temperature is sure to kill any eggs that exist. Maybe you may want to buy then freeze, eat later. LIZ D Breakfast Struggle/Liz Pearl, a really tasty fish is orange ruffy. This fish has a taste like butter has been added to it when it's just plain fish! It doesn't taste fishy at all and is our families favorite. We prefer this over haddock. Haddock is good also, not fishy. LIZ >>>> Hey Liz, I m going to get some of this and try it out! Thanks ! -I find myself at the fish counter and not knowing what anything tastes like, or how to even cook it LOL ! We went to the bay this past week and watched the fishing boats come in. They sell the fish right from off of the boat. Well they sell the fishes whole. I don't have a clue as to what to do with a whole fish. Is their a fish person on this list:) Liz, how do I cook the ruffy? Just put it in the oven?
