I never considered how dangerous Tylenol could be. I had a doctor that ignored my complaints as to the chronic pain I had 4 years ago. He would put me off. And I had to work cleaning houses with stairs, then I owned a video production company just as physical as the cleaning I shot Rock and Roll bands in clubs. Then I aired their performance on my show they loved it. Anyway in order for me to continue my fast paced life I took Tylenol lots of them 15 a day. My pain I find out after transplant was chronic pain, arthritis, and a very nasty case of pain from Fibromyalgia. Since then I research until I understand what is happening to me and will never allow such poor care again in my life. He says he is not sure this is the right anti-conception for me because of the aih and he is going to look into it. He mentioned a spiral to me. Personally I am not to thrilled about that. Two of my aunts used a spiral and got pregnant anyway. My lft's are in normal range. Perhaps one of you can help me with this question. Could you please tell me why I should or should not use a birthcontrol pill and if you have good experiences with a specific brand could you mention it to me. If there are no physical problems to interfere with speech (e.g.- the lips can meet without any problem to form the sounds of speech for B, M, & P) then the person should be able to keep the lips closed while eating. I don't think being an LP is excuse for bad manners. My question is, do all achons have the downward pull of the mouth inviting those lovely lines from lips to chin? Indeed, my body termperature was 1 degree or so below normal. I now believe this was m (??) gravis in that I had an incredibly stiff neck and had to use cold water soaked towels in order to sleep at night. Not sure if your child is exhibiting this kind of discomfort before bedtime. For me, the Candida and/or thyroid are likely to blame. Not sure if this in any way translates to your child, but I could have sworn a few weeks back that I had a fever -- and it just wasn't the case. I suppose the real question is -- what is the child's temp. according to the thermometer? If it is elevated, I would take him/her to the doctor. Fever in an infant is something I would address immediately (and did when my kids were that age). Caveat: I am not a physician, so your pediatric specialist would the one to call on this. I was on a low dose asprin at the time...maybe that helped it from being worse then it could have been. I was taking birth control pills at that time too. That could have played a part in it...I am on Coumadin now. Hope you are okay! WB > I had a TIA last week and ended up in hospital. Our daughter is now 8 and was diagnosed with type-one diabetes at 18-months old. She gets 4 finger pricks and two injections a day and gets blood drawn for blood tests every few months. If you aren't already, you'll be amazed what kids get used to when it is just the routine they follow. We need to be careful that we don't assume our own fears of things like this apply to our children. The blood samples are of little concern to our daughter and she looks forward to the trinket drawer most doctor's have for kids after these procedures. Our daughter did tell us that she didn't like this process recently, but told us that it was the rubber tubing that hurt -- not drawing the blood. So, the last time it was done the tech lowered her sleave and put the tubing over it and the time before they were very careful to be certain that the tubing lay flat and didn't have a twist in it and she said it didn't hurt at all in either case. I vividly remember the day she got her first flu shot -- the nurse was instructing my to hold down her top half, mom to get her feet and the nurse would handle her mid-section and the needle... we told her not to worry and our daughter sat calmly, untouched on the table while the astonished nurse gave her the injection. Guest guest Posted April 12, 2002 Report Share Posted April 12, 2002 Ady it could be the weather I know with she does better with warm weather its spring here but when winter sets in she gets worse see how your child does for a few days then you make the choice its good shes getting the excerises i am not sure what netball is plays alittle basketball some tennis kick ball but not often only when she feels like it she also is on a trampoline alittle its not as often as she wants though she rides her bike and skates only as she can why didnt your child sleep well? could it be she was hurting or is it shes nervous about being on the team? talk with her and if its because of pain just explain to her to be careful and you will see what a few more days will do if she continues to not rest good i would tell her she will have to stop or not play the game as much keep her on the side but not off the team JRA really messes up a kids right to have fun the way they want being part of a team let me know how she does also call the doctor and let him know whats going on Robbin Also about the medicine sterility i heard that these meds will or could is on Voltaren right now i am not sure what the long term effects will cause ALOT of the meds we dont know about because i believe our kids are guinea pigs just like if it works let them take it if it dont we will try something else these ARE adult meds Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
