Guest guest Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Hi folks, A couple of very important announcements today in Dr. J's case. 1) FIRST HEARING DATE CONTINUANCE: The continuance that the attorney requested has been granted! This is good news. While we do not know the exact date, we believe the matter will be continued until at least March. I'll let you know as soon as we know the exact date. 2) NEW ADDRESS FOR LEGAL DEFENSE FUND; Now that we have selected the attorney for the case, the legal defense funds are being transferred to his trust account for administrative convenience. PLEASE MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO: Pullman & Comley, LLC Trust Account IN THE MEMO FIELD WRITE; Dr, # 70757.1 (Sorry folks. I have Lyme, too, so I know it's not so easy to use the long number as an identifier. But, apparently, that's how it needs to be done in a law office). PLEASE SEND CHECKS TO: Pullman & Comley, LLC 90 State House Square Hartford, CT 06103 DON'T WORRY ABOUT CHECKS SENT TO THE PREVIOUS ADDRESS. THEY WILL GET SENT TO THIS ACCOUNT. BUT PLEASE USE THIS NEW ADDRESS NOW TO MAKE IT EASIER ON THE TEAM. ________________________________________________________________ To recap and/or expand on previous information sent to you about letters: 1) Dr. would like to have all letters. whether personal to him or letters to be used in his legal defense, sent to him: Ray , MD Madison Towers 111 Park Street, 1st Floor New Haven, CT 06511 2) Prior and current patients can write a letter of support for Dr. if he has helped you or someone you know. If Dr. has treated or helped you or someone in your family, say so. The attorney has asked for letters (not e-mails) from Dr. ' patients who have concrete and verifiable information that may be helpful with this case. These letters should include information describing the care their children were given and problems they may have encountered prior to seeing Dr . For example specific accounts where a doctor may have not properly or accurately diagnosed their children, delaying treatment which led to a verifiable chronic or severe illness. These accounts have to be very factual and as brief as possible (try to keep under 2 pages) if they are to be used. If you are not a current or previous patient of Dr. ' and have not written a support letter, then hold off on doing so. We will address that issue later on. Thanks, Ellen Quote
