> I was wondering do you suggest I go back to get the doctor to

increase my Thyroid meds? My thyroid used to be between .50 to .75 and

that was the best time I ever felt. Now it's increased to 3.3 and I

feel terrible. My skin is all dry, hair falling out, constipated

absolutely no energy and I feel like I'm dead ....... it's terrible

+++Hi Maddy. I'm surpised your doctor didn't increase your dose after

your last test. So yes, see your doctor about it.

Marelene, I have successfully kept my Hashimoto's in check since 1993, just

take your med and you'll be fine; the dose may need tweaking occasionally,

but your synthroid should " fix " all your symptoms; one of the easiest AI

conditions to live with.

Are there any PBC'ers out there with Hashimoto's or Hypoactive thyroid taking

thyroid replacement other than levothyroxine (generic for Levoxyl, Synthroid,

etc)? I have taken levothyroxine for over 30 years, but recently had the amount

changed from 100 mcg's to 75 mcg's and now the TSH is in the normal range. My

question is: is anyone taking Armour thyroid or Thyrolar---a natural thyroid

replacement as opposed to synthetic? I was wondering if there would be less

hair thinning and loss, etc.

I have been on all thyroid meds and synthroid is the best one. The natural one

they can not control as much and made me really sick. I was told in 2001 I had

hyperthyroid-Graves Disease and went through treatment but it didn't fully kill

my thryroid so now I have Hashimoto. I got really bad and went through several

Doc before they relized I needed Synthroid not any other I take 137mg daily and

have been super . Well if you have any question I be glad to take thyroid

disease is really bad if not treated right but is a easy fix if you get the

right meds. Mandi~OK

you'll need to do some work to get educated on thyroid issues some in order

to be able to converse with your doc about it.

the same equivilence/dose :)  and so that poses more issues meaning often having

...ok, i knew it was dessicated animal thyroid but forgot it was from pigs.

i think i recall folks who use it go by their own judgment if they're

getting hypered up or otherwise, and regulate themselves that way. usually

regulation isn't super critical... and the problem with dosing with anything

or even being able to diagnose thyroid issues is that TSH levels vary and an

occasional test doesn't tell much, it really takes a series of them over

time to know correctly what's going on.

read into that website and you'll know the questions to ask yourself whether

or not you might do better with one or the other. i'd learn all about it

before asking her if it's healthier... then you can evaluate her response

better, and be prepared to discuss it.

CRS is a hassle for sure... comes with active hep for me, but it's always

been a problem for me to varying degrees.

i'm better lately though. i pretty much always know where my wallet, keys,

glasses, and tools are now. and who owes me for what and how much.

Bee, I have a funny sensation in my neck, like swelling, and my feet

sometimes get ice cold. I am not overweight. I've been on the diet on and off

for

several years, taking some supplements but not all. My body temperature has

always been below 98.6. Is there something I should do before I give in and go

to the doctor? I started with coconut oil again. I really don't want to take

thyroid medication. Thank you.

+++Hi . Your symptoms are related to low thyroid function, which most

candida sufferers have. The reason is because candida toxins make all of the

cell membranes rigid/stiff which interferes with the functioning of all organs.

It also means hormones, like those produced by the thyroid, along with nutrients

and water, aren't as able to get into stiff cells - see this article for more

information: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php

I think it is better not to start on thyroid meds since your body becomes

dependent upon them, and while they may improve some symptoms, they don't help

the thyroid improve. It will take time, but your thyroid will normalize on this

program, as many other members have reported. So it is best to just focus on

carefully following this program.

The best, Bee

digestive troubles.)  If I am going to continue to work with him, I want support

+++Hi . Sorry I just realized you are a new member, so welcome to our

group.

Most candida sufferers have low thyroid and adrenal functioning, which will

normalize on this program. Many members of this group have been able to lower

their meds as they prograess, so that when their thyroid and adrenals normalize

the meds won't interfere. See this article which explains why:

It is very important you read about candida, and learn what you need to do and

why - you can also take a Candida Test.

Hi Chuck,

The book is called " The Oil That Heals " and is an excellent resource.

Thanks for mentioning it.

Cheers,

Thyroid

Joyce, it probably wouldn't hurt to let a few drops soak in the back of

your throat every day just to boost up your immune system. Caster oil like

this also quickly gets rid of sore throats, allergies, and was used by

Native Americans to stop pink eye by placing a drops in the eye. Dr

McGarey has a book about it. I think it's called " The Cayce Cures "

.. Maybe Dudley can straighten that out because I am not sure of the title

or the spelling of his name. It was originally called de Palma Cristi (the

hand of Christ). It also gets rid of moles and things that should not be

there when used properly. God Bless.

Thanks, Chuck and Robin. That might actually be the one by McGarey that I have.

Have to check later.

I'm getting some promising results getting an eye floater to " dissolve " using

castor oil drops in my eye once in AM once in PM, as well as gently massaging.

Got rid of an ovarian cyst with the c oil a few years ago. Amazing stuff.

Clears up constipation without having to drink it!

Got rid of a wart on face in a week using castor oil and baking soda. Dr. was

going to have to charge me $1,000 just to be admitted to hospital room for

surgical removal! Said no thanks, rubbed some in at night. Felt pieces coming

off. Decided not to be so lazy about mixing with baking soda. Finished out

week with it as paste mixture of the 2 ingredients. Amazing results!

The poster who was looking for people's reports on success using Cayce

treatments has my permission to use this info.

Can't put in throat at this time. Been having trouble with loose bowels and

horrible hemmorhoids (too much info?) lately. Dr. did rubber band ligation on 3

internals, but I still have a nasty external. She says don't have surgery

unless I can't stand it any more. Says the surgery is very unpleasant.

Just started using TIM. Baking soda and Glyco Thy... enemas, keeping stricter

to alkaline diet, and taking baking soda have all been helpful. Baking soda- a

tsp in a glass of water gets rid of my acid reflux better than any pills on the

market! The reading about acidity not being so much indicated from diets is

#1026-1, No.18. It's from " ...inability through these secretions for the

activities of certain glands...to make for eliminations in the system itself. "

Blessings to you.

Best,

Joyce
