In addition to the information already posted, I wanted to mention that there are also clinical studies going on now for CoQ10. It will be a few years before we know the results, but it may be something you want to research. There is also a list of potentially harmful medications for CMT patients. Here is a link... http://www.charcot-marie-tooth.org/med_alert.php  For your children too, it's good to keep this list in mind, as a precaution, even though they may not have CMT. I think CMT can be mis-diagnosed easily as fibro and chronic fatigue. CMT creates all the fibro triggers and fatigue. I am glad you are feeling better and very happy to add another friend to . I too was (wrongly) diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about twenty years ago, and it was very frustrating for me. When I was diagnosed with CMT last year, it made a lot more sense, even though the doctors mostly say there is nothing they can do to cure the problem. Regardless of the label for our maladies, however, the most important thing is to have the best attitude we can and live a healthy lifestyle (eating right, exercising within our abilities, taking supplements, not smoking, drinking, drugging, etc.).
