Guest guest
One way I can tell that I have a herx coming on is when I feel overly emotional (laughing harder than the joke is funny, feeling sadder than the situation seems to call for). Then, when the herx really gets going, I'm often fully depressed. I have other cognitive symptoms, too. What you're describing is " neuro Lyme " and Diflucan can cause a herx which would make your neuro symptoms much worse. I'm currently taking 200 mg of Diflucan and 400 mg of doxy (in two doses) daily. I herxed for most of 2 weeks when I first started this combo. I always tough out my herxes, but everyone handles them differently, so do what feels right. It may take a few days for your anxiety, etc., to let up. Guest guest
If Diflucan is causing much of a yeast die off the person generally gets a little giddy. Part of the chemical reaction creates alcohol in the bloodstream so its like a mild drunkeness. I usually feel on top of the world for a couple days after a diflucan pill. > > > > I have been put on 200mg of Diflucan a day and I have restricted my > > diet. Guest guest
Are your main Lyme symtpoms depression anxiety? If so what antibiotics are helping this? Shift > > My doctor won't let me take Diflucan anymore than once a week because of the liver damage everything else causes. I am on 400mg IV Doxi daily and a boat load of other stuff for the anxiety, depression, thyroid, insomnia. I wish he would let me take the Diflucan...that stuff is great! > Jackie in NH > > > [ ] Re: Diflucan candida die off question? > > > If Diflucan is causing much of a yeast die off the person generally > gets a little giddy.
