Hi,

I am reading a lot online about the Salt and Vitamin C Regimen to cure Lyme

Disease.  It sounds great.  Does anyone know if this works and why it is

better than antibiotics?  Can that much salt be dangerous?  I know when I eat

a lot of salt in my food my face and body retain water and get puffy...wouldn't

this happen with that large of a salt intake?

Also, I tried searching for the salt tablets online and cannot find them

anywhere.  Does anyone know where I can purchase these salt tablets?

[ ] Help!

Hello,

My name is Jj and I am suffering from lyme disease, so I thought I would give

you a back ground. I was born and raised in Ohio, and then moved to Maine for

college last Fall- I started working at an outdoor adventure center and was

camping a lot. I went on a staff training in October, and it was around a 5 day

trip...On the last day of the trip I noticed a tick bite on my hip bone which

looked different than any tick bite I had ever seen. I ended up getting flu like

symptoms that week that I was home from the Tick bite, and then I felt

fine, so I thougth nothing of it. I was home for Christmas break and started to

get what I thought was heart palpitations, I would get a rushing sensation of

anxiety followed by a dizzy like feeling and a speedy heart rate. I was admitted

into the hospital and given multiple heart tests, even including wearing a heart

moniter, and the only thing showing was that I had a fast heart rate. I went

back to school in January and that was when we started questioning lyme disease,

I had had multiple other symptoms that occur with Lyme disease. Finding a Lyme

disease doctor in Maine was not the easiest task, but finally with hous of

research we found an acupuncturist who said he could help, I was tested and

found positive for lyme and was given lyme supplements for 30 days- which we

thought had cured me, until recently when I started feeling sick again and was

put back on the supplements with no success. I need help, Most doctors Won't

believe me...Or they just dont care...and I don't want to continue on a path

that will harm me- I just cant! IF Anyone has been to a successful lyme disease

doctor In Ohio, PA, KY, Or Maine...Please let me know!

Hello ,

I suggest researching the himalayan crystal salt and the book " Water and Salt

the Essence of Life " .  www.swansonvitamins.com had a special that if you bought

two of the salt the book was free. You may find the salt elsewhere cheaper if

you look around but the deal with the book is a good one I think.   With pure

unprocessed salt such as this you don't have the problems you get from processed

salt.  I've been using it for some time (6 months) in high doses with none of

the effects that would come from processed salt.  I drink lots of water.

The last time I posted something on this I got a response from someone basically

saying that salt is salt and it's bad for you.  I say that idea comes from a

lack of knowledge.  I don't suggest to anyone just to go out and buy a bunch of

this salt and start slamming it down just because you see an email or two

advocating it.....I say get educated about it and then decide.   However, I have

to admit I don't always follow this advice, ; )

I do have reports of folks with high blood pressure on Salt/c having their

blood pressure drop over the course of their treatment. There have been a

number of discussions about this on the salt/c list.

There has also been at least one report of salt/c causing problems and

sending someone to the emergency room too. Like the other anecdotal evidence

I have heard its all 3rd hand.
