Althouth I am against pharmaceuticals for the most part, I have

experienced enormous relief when I take Adderall - which is an

amphetamine mix. There have been numerous accounts of these drugs

helping people with Fibromyalgia (which I guess is really Lyme? or

Mercury?) Anyway, what I think is going on is that Lyme/mercury affix

to the brain and mess with all the chemicals - particularly dopamine.

Since dopamine regulates pain levels when this is " treated " the pain

significantly reduces along with a whole host of other improvements.

See www.add-fibromyalgia.com for a more indepth explanation.

I guess the trick is cleaning all the toxins from the brain - be it

mercury or Lymes. Anybody know anything about all this?

Have you ever had a sleep study done? You might have a sleep disorder like

sleep apnea or narcolepsy.

I feel just like you do .

I would rather not take medication but I also take a small dose of

adderall and then if it dones not keep me awake I can take provigil.

I wait to see if I am going to get sleepy later in the day before I

take the Provigil. I took just it for a long time but last year I

got to where I was to drowsey to function again so the dr added the

adderall but it is only 10mg. I also take Neurontin and it has been

the only thing that helped the spacyiness.

Sleepiness has been one of my worst symptoms and for a long time I

could say that ony my head was tired not my body.

Now its all tired and hurts. I wonder if anyone else has ever felt

like they just had a tired head?

I cannot say just how bad I slept. My daughter was in kindergarden

and now she is graduating collage this spring but for several years

all I could do was get her to school and late sleep then pick her up

late in the afternoon because I had slept all day then sleep some

more. I would try to cook and put something on the stove and sleep

and sometimes burn things up. I would have to rool the car windows

down in the winter so I would not fall aseep driving. I have nodded

out so many times. I had a sleep study and it was not anything

diagnostic.
