Lyme Aid Owner ========== Judy, I had a lot of nausea before my diagnosis just because of the lyme. Many times I thought, " Could I be pregnant? I don't think so... " On the questionaire at my LLMD nausea was listed as a possible symptom so that answered my question. After a few months of antibiotics my nausea has only returned during a " break " without abx. Regarding the " herxing " or " die-off " some things that might help are to drink lots of water (2 quarts), hot baths (I do them as hot as I can stand it with salt and baking soda)(don't stay in for more than 15 or 20 minutes!), and massages (it helps move the lymph so your body can get rid of the die-off/toxins). If you're sticking to the new diet you're way ahead of the game than I am!! I get so mad at myself that I have no self-control over what goes in my mouth! Mainly I cheat to eat for energy because my kids/family depends on me and I can't just rest or take a day off. I have to keep going every day all day long (sigh). But that new diet could also be causing your body to react and feel yucky. Especially if you were addicted to coke (like me!). Well, I'm off to eat some healthy plain yogurt! I wish you the best. Beth [ ] Greetings...new lymie here.. Hi everyone, I've recently been diagnosed with Lyme Disease after 9 years of symptoms. Like so many of you I was originally dx with Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, even though I had the bullseye rash. I knew in my heart it was something else. After seeing nearly 20 medical professionals, I was finally diagnosed by a doctor that also has LD. So I am just starting my journey to recovery. I see the doctor tomorrow for my first month follow-up. I'm taking so many different medications/supplements that I'm sick to my stomach most of the day. She put me on a yeast free/sugar free diet and I have been sticking to it faithfully so not really sure why the nausea. Does anyone have a good rememdy for upset stomach? She mentioned " herxing " but I'm not quite sure what that is. I know if I search messages I would probably find the answer but I feel so bad right now that I don't have the energy to sit here long enough to search. Thanks for listening, Judy

Lyme Aid Owner ========== Judy, It doesn't sound like you need something to take for your upset stomach. You are probably taking too many things as it is from what you are describing. Look at your meds and the potential interactions, or the side effects of them. Also, you may be allergic to one or more of your meds or supplements. On top of that, taking too many supplements and/or meds at the same time can make you nauseated as well. Your body is having to work hard to digest what you are taking. That may be why you nauseated as well. Stop everything (that you can), then slowly add them back one at a time until you find the culprits. Then stop them and consider an alternative. I was taking a lot of supplements..........and finally started to stop and start certain ones until I found which was upsetting my stomach. For me it was Oregano (capsule).........within in two days the nausea was gone. Connieknwnj
