Guest guest
I husband has been affected by this also. He has tremors in all four limbs. At one point it would cause him to loose balance due to the shaking and he would stumble. He laughs and says he can make chochalate milk with out a spoon. Since he has been on the neurotin, we have seen improvement. They are not as often or as severe. He also has jerking motions, I notice this at night because he wakes me when his muscles jerk. His llmd told us that the lyme is affecting his neurological system. I would encourage you to speak to your doctor if this bothering you and see what they reccommend. honey
Guest guest
I had the severve jerking thing going on too. It was worse in the evening while trying to watch tv. After the first 2-3 months on doxy it's mostly gone. > Honey, > > I was on the floor laughing when your husband was saying he can make chocolate milk. It is exactly how it was for me. My whole body would hurt from the contracting of all the muscles. Thanks again for the bit of humor, it keeps us going. > > Bill > [ ] re: tremors and myoclonus > > > > I husband has been affected by this also. He has tremors in all > four limbs. Guest guest
Yes, He has went through many different types of medication to treat the disease. This is one the doctor stated he was treating, not really sure in what order. He is currently taking several medications to treat the disease and we just started oral rifampin. He also is taking medication for pain, the tremors and medication to enhance the neurotin, plus his nystatin. We are a regular pharmacy here. I really think some of the medication is helping. Like I said before the tremors are less severe and not daily. Some days the lyme symptoms are just unbearable but there are no easy answers for this. honey
