I'm not sure of the " denial " you got or the details, but if I may make a

suggestion here.....have you contacted Pfizer ??

Have you read " all " the contrindications of this drug?? You need to read the

PDF file on file for Zithromax® 600mg Tablets....pretty scary to me however,

that is a personal choice and I don't want you to think I'm dogging it. Just

offering a " caution " when taking " any " drug being offered.

Here is how most of these programs work.....You call them, all have an 800

number and request the form they have for your doctor to fill out with need,

diagnosis and other medical comments he deems necessary. He sends form to you

and you fill out your part AND attach the " denial " form from her insurance

company. There is no need for insurance company opinion, you just need the

request

and word DENIED stamped on the form....You make copies of everything then

send to Pfizer's appropriate program for assistance. They will then send your

doctor a 3 to 4 month supply and your doctor can then give to you. This needs

to be done quarterly, so allow enough time (usually 3 weeks for Pfizer

turn-around) for refills. Pfizer will do this for one year and then will have

your

doctor file the appropriate papers again to repeat the process.

I know this process works as I am receiving the drug " Salagen " for

Sjogrens.....my medicaid insurance company denied me the drug (my cost would

have been

$240 a month) and I went to the " only " company who makes the drug and requested

the forms to get the meds donated to me. I have helped several folks use

this method to get drugs they could otherwise NOT afford. I receive a 4 month

supply quarterly.
