Hi my name is eve, i was on here a little while ago, some of you may

remember me. I have lyme also but doctors claim it is cured, not so

sure of it myself though, what i was wondering if anyone has had

dizziness and the sense of feeling like you are being pulled down to

the ground, like someone is trying to make you fall. How do you deal

with it, it is starting to scare me, no one doctor seems to care,

she just tells me don't eat carbs...eve

No carbs?! I get dizzy when I DON'T eat carbs, lol! I have always

gotten dizzy with the lyme. My dizzy is sort of a close my eyes,

head spinning type...kinda like a drunk feeling. I am noticing the

episodes are farther apart now that I'm on antibiotics, and I'm

hoping they'll soon be eliminated. Maybe you should try yet another

doc?

Dear Eve:

I'm so sorry you are getting the run around. Unfortunately your story is all too

familiar to most of us.

I went for 30 years with Lyme, being told I was depressed, no one could be in

that much pain, you're a hypochondriac! You name it, anything but lyme.

I found great comfort at http://www.lymenet.org There is a great archive FULL

of helpful info. Check out the flash discussion (Located in the upper left hand

corner)

From there you will have the opportunity to post your story and get feedback

from others, search the archives, look for a lyme literate doc, ask medical

questions...etc. My story is posted there too!

Without their help, I don't know where I would be! Do yourself a huge favor and

seek a lyme literate medical doctor (LLMD) asap. It was the best decision I ever

made!

Best wishes to you on your search for health.
