<PRE>thanks sherri, sorry to hear you are having a rough time. you stick to you

guns and do what is best for you and your family. i still haven't called them

yet. or done an update of my resume. it is too cold and i think i am

procrastinating because i know i have a couple months left. i sent my

severence pay to my mom, she is to only give me what i need so it should last

4 months. but you know how that goes too. especially in my life. i just got

home from the dr's walk in clinic. she see's nothing, no yeast or any other

furry or slimy critters. she was going to suggest i try zyrtec for the

itching, but i've been on that daily for 3 years now. oh well, at least i

know i am not diseased, so that puts part of me at rest i guess. told me to

try benedryl, just be careful to make skin contact only. kathy in il ( i

feel like the dog dragging her butt across the carpet!!)

Kathy,

I am glad that I have some others that love the show! I think that the new

writers are heading in

the right direction...having some fun! I want them to heat up Jack and a,

get rid of

find a hot new woman for Tad, let Brook stop whining and try to develop all of

the core families

that they have let die over the past five years. I miss Dimitri...he was the

a romance I

enjoyed the most even though I love Mike Roy with her. Tad needs a real story

line and not just

keep popping up holding the hands of all of the maladjusted ladies. I hate what

they have done

with Jake...I loved him with Greenlee and I would much prefer to see things

heating up with them

than some plumber (I hate that Jake is leaving). Anyway, we could probably have

a bimonthly chat

with you, Shandi and I and any others that like this show so we don't bore

everyone else. Iris

There was a discussion here awhile back about thyroid problems and losing the outer third of your eyebrows, have you been checked for thyroid problems?

Dear Cheryl #2:

Yes, I've been tested for thyroid and am still waiting to discuss

the tests with my endochrinologist. The results were borderline, so

I don't know if he'll choose to treat me or not. Thanks for the

input!

Hi Kathy,

How did your day at work go? I hope it was great, but if it wasn't keep in

mind that the first couple of days at a new job are almost always trying.

Because you already know and like everyone, though, it will probably be much

easier. I hope your joints cooperated.

Yes, the strike is over! I just got back from seeing Life x 3, with Helen

Hunt, Turturo (Quiz show movie among others) and Bret Spiner (Data on

Star Trek). It was a " thinking comedy " where you viewed the same scene with

two couples and see how just a few reactions changed the whole course of

things drastically. Very enjoyable. The acting was incredible, and the

stage was a circle in the center of a room of about 500, which really felt

intimate. I really wanted to see a musical, but I honestly didn't know the

strike was over and I thought I just got lucky and that this was off

broadway. Well, I got the ticket for half price at Tixx (last minute

tickets at a discount) so it was a great deal either way.

I also went to the observation deck at the top of the Empire State Bldg. It

really gave me pause to think of what it must have been like for people in

the twin towers on that fateful day. My other stop was Times Square.

Really awesome. I think NY is incredibly cool. And I've come across some

colorful people today. The cab driver who took me back from the show went

on and on about Bush and how he was going to kill innocent babies in Iraq.

How we went from my asking him if it was busy tonight to that - yikes! He

was pretty intense. I'm feeling really awful tonight, but I got everything

I wanted to accomplished here. I don't like to waste an opportunity to see

something new. But I'm flaring so bad that my eyes are so dry I can barely

see the computer screen. Since I didn't drive this afternoon, I was able to

take the pain meds so I could keep going. It really was a great thing to be

able to enjoy the day so much. Tomorrow up to CT and Boston (after three

clients).

I'd better go give my eyes, and my body, a rest. Please us know how the day

went!

Love,

Carol

settlement on broadway!!! hope you get to see a show!! kathy in il here i

thanks heidi, arthur has been peeking around the corner. my shoulder has hurt

for the last 3 days. i came home so exhausted yesterday. it was a very

stressful day. dr was doing a screw removal in the office yesterday. he had a

really rough time. the screw was stripped. he was so pale!! thank god the

hospital gave him a special tool for christmas. he was able to get it out.

thank god his wife was able to find the tool!!! i feel very frustrated. the

dr's wife who is training me has her 2 youngest 5 and almost 3 in the office.

they run around. making the dr scream. interuptions left and right. work

stacking up everywhere. plus they bought a new software program 2 weeks ago.

so she is trying to find her way around that too. very unorganized. i just

feel helpless. i try to help when i can. plus i think they are having second

thoughts about the full time girl they hired. i hope it's her and not me. dr

told me his wife is full of compliments for me. but i have tried to do what

they ask me to. i have learned how to do the billing. (i'm sure i'll still

have special ones i'll need help with., but something is wrong with the

program and not printing the hcfa forms right. they think the full time girl

changed something. she is always playing around in the new software. messing

things up. so i can't help that. i will say.......i'm glad it's friday. kathy

Dear W:

Thanks...It's been a long haul...I've been babying myself like

Dear Patty and Jerry:

Thanks for the good wishes! I'm doing quite a bit better. Day by

day I've been able to add more activity. I'm taking it nice and

slow. I've been terrified of relapse, so have just been taking it

one day at a time.

Still haven't heard anything about the Northwest meeting. Has is

been cancelled?

Awe shucks, thanks Dawn! :) I appreciate the compliment. I think

the letter is pretty darn good too. Braden's friend is here today,

and I asked him what he remembered of the assignment and what was

said. What he said just confirms that she did NOTHING to help him

with that assignment and that Braden did NOT throw a tantrum. As the

class was lining up to go to art she said, " Braden, you stay here and

do the paper. If you don't do it I will send you to the principal's

office. " OOOOHHHHH, I can't get into that meeting soon enough.

GGGRRRRRRR....

Please do feel free to file that letter away and use it to suit your

needs if you ever should. I pray you never have to.

Kathy :)

Dawn,

Yeah, that's probably about right...maybe a little longer. You can

never count on traffic to flow smoothly on 95!! The Commodore Barry

Bridge is the one that goes over from Delaware, isn't it? We're

practically neighbors.

Doylestown! I'll have to get in touch with you next time I am forced to go visit

Hi guys it is . in may I will be in Levittown which isn't far from

Doylestown. We definitely will have to set up a meeting at one of the houses

and bring the kids. My new house has an inground pool. Sounds like the kids

could get together and meet.

I have a Seeing Eye Puppy (though he doesn't look much like a puppy

anymore - he's got to be 90 pounds!!) and I am taking him to an event

with Seeing Eye today. Then every Saturday, I take one of my kids

out alone for special time. This week it's my oldest - .

is fun because he likes to eat the good restaurants now!! And it's

good practice for him in speaking to a server.

Kathy

That is great.

first - seeing eye puppy. That is so nice. I know you are doing a good

thing, but I wouldn't be able to give up the dog when I had to. It is nice

that you are helping other people.

second - how nice about taking the kids out for special time. I really

need to start doing that. I think it would do us all a world of good.

speaking to the servers has never been a problem for my rugrats.

I have to tell them to be quiet. Ally was 4 and she told the server to

" Server, please go get me another drink and I would like some butter too "

Like she was a princess. I was so embarrassed.

Bradley talks so much to the server - they have a hard time getting away

from him to wait on their other customers.

If people from other tables say something to them - they both start talking

- a mile a minute - I liken it to a shark attack. LOL!!!!

They seem to be competitive when it comes to attention.

Take care,

Dawn

Dawn,

Regarding your kids talking the servers' ears off, both of my boys used to be

that way when they were toddlers and preschoolers, but they don't talk as much

anymore...Ironically, although Braden has developed a phobia of talking to

servers, he has no inhibitions about shouting out jokes in the middle of class.

Unfortunately, the teachers don't think he's very funny. However, when I ask

him what he said that upset them and he tells me, I usually crack up. Not a

good example to set, but that kid makes me laugh. It's not my fault the

teachers have no sense of humor (I know, I know, before someone lectures

me...there IS a proper time and place....)
