Guest guest
Anncarisso, Zahavi is correct about Dickson's chemist, all you do is send your script to them and they will send you the LDN at a very small cost, I think it works out liquid £15 a month and capsules £30 per month. Dickson I believe, reminds you when your scripts are due - I think it is a three month script you would get off your Dr......Send to stephen and that's it, he would keep you right...... Having said that, how the hell can the Primary care Trust question your drug of choice when the alternative would be twenty times more at the least....... Good luck Celia Reply to sender | Reply to group | Reply via web post | Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (12) ..
Guest guest
Ann, if you're getting it on the NHS then I imagine your prescription is being sent to dales. PCTs only get involved when it's a cost issue and you're still saving the NHS by taking LDN instead of the other drugs being offered for MS. Can I suggest that when you meet with them that you request you have the prescription personally and send it to Dicksons Chemist in Glasgow yourself? They charge £30/month for capsules and £15/month for liquid. Why don't you contact Dickson, he's very helpful http://www.delivermyprescription.co.uk/ is his website but if you email him on homedeliverypharmacy@... and in the subject heading put F A O Dickson he will get this email and respond promptly. Hope this helps. Best, Jayne Crocker www.LDNNow.com Important! Does anyone have any info I can take to my GP? Guest guest
I'M PAYING $45 PER MONTH/30 DAY SUPPLY AT MY LOCAL PHARMACY. I DRIVE 20 MILES TO PICK IT UP. MY NEXT PRESCRIPTION WILL BE MAILED TO SKIPS FOR 19.95 FOR A 30 DAY SUPPLY, AND HE WILL SHIP THEM TO ME FOR VERY LITTLE, I'M SURE. IT'S NOT LIKE THEY ARE HEAVY OR IN A LARGE BOX. Guest guest
Bob Have you got a script for LDN? If you live in the US then fax it to Skips (for example) and you`ll get three months supply for less than $70 which will include shipping. We dont use insurance to cover it as it`s affordable to just pay for it outright. If you dont have a script and cant get one then you`ll need to order 50mg pills of Naltrexone from an online pharmacy and make your own smaller dose, which is probably the cheapest way to do it above everything else. Guest guest
Oh sorry Bob, I just saw the link. That is the cost of a 50mg pill of NALTREXONE not LDN. That is still very expensive though. Check out the prices at River Pharmacy and All Day Chemist. The original 50mg pill is not the one you want to take, you need to dissolve it in water and extract a much lower dose.
