I have no idea what that substance is however. if you want more info let me know. bluesky >

Jim, From recent posts on the CFSFM Experimental List: You can get 480 grams of the pure cholestyramine powder from Hopkinton Drug in Mass, 800-439-4441, Fax: 508-435-5983, for $80 plus $20 S & H. So this is comparable to what Liz in Washington State posted to Denis Katz, RPh., Hopkinton Drug, Inc., 52 Main St., Hopkinton, Mass., 01748, Phone#: 800-439-4441, Fax#: 508-435-5983, Compounding Pharmacist Specializing in Cholestyramine ....the compounding pharmacy (Abrams Royal in Dallas) that was listed on your support group website (www.virtualhometown.com/dfwcfids) to inquire about sugar-free, aspartame-free cholestyramine for Dr. Shoemaker's Neurotoxins protocol (www.chronicneurotoxins.com) that Dr. Cheney is going to implement. I was astounded to see that they are charging $340 for 100 grams. I checked in Canada and found out that you can get the same amount for about $15. So I challenged a couple of compounding pharmacies that I have used to come up with a better price. You might want to let your subscribers know that 's Pharmacy in Bellevue, WA, is offering 500 grams of the sugar- free cholestyramine for only $100, vs. $1700 for the compounding pharmacy that Dr. Raines uses. 's Pharmacy can be reached at 425- 881-0222. Another good resource is www.canadianmedsusa.com. We can order through this site and it's great for comparing prices -- that's how I found out how cheap the cholestyramine resin actually is. Guest guest
Thanks to Bzzz!!! She was exactly right when she wrote that THE BEST place for affordable pure cholestyramine powder is: > You can get 480 grams of the pure cholestyramine > powder from Hopkinton Drug in Mass, 800-439-4441, Fax: > 508-435-5983, for $80 plus $20 S & H. In addition to the pure cholestyramine powder (no sugar/no nutrasweet) the mixture sold by Hopkinton Drug also contains the following beneficial ingredients: 1) stevia - a natural herbal sweetener used to improve taste; 2) hydroxy ethyl cellulose - to help reduce the gut irritation that some experience on cholestyramine; 3) microcrystalline cellulose - an inert ingredient used to bulk the mixture up to an even 1 tablespoon per dose. Thanks again to Bzzz!!!
