Guest guest
Jeannie- According to " A to Z Guide to Drug-Herb-Vitamin Interactions " it says that Effexor should not be taken with 5-HTP and L-Tryptophan because of a side effect called seratonin syndrome. It is also recommended that it not be taken with St. 's Wort. My husband is on Effexor as well as many people I know and they are also taking Valerian root for sleep, 2 @ bedtime but I would start with one. I sell Nature's Sunshine brand of it and it has helped my husband. He used to take Ambien (Rx sleeping pills).
