Guest guest
Somebody a couple of weeks ago distributed an email about this Dr re the possibility of her being struck off the medical list in the UK. I thought I’d let everyone know the outcome of the hearing with the General medical council. Below is a quick summary of what she does and her website:- The aim of this website is to give individuals access to all the information and tests they need to take control of their own health. Everyone should follow The general approach to maintaining and restoring good health, which involves eating a stoneage diet, taking a basic package of nutritional supplements, ensuring a good night's sleep on a regular basis and getting the right balance between work, exercise and rest. Because we live in an increasingly polluted world, we should probably all be doing some sort of detox regime. Start with Your very good health! Symptoms and tests help identify the underlying mechanisms that cause disease. Common mechanisms include allergies, sugar and carbohydrate addiction, poor mitochondrial function, poor antioxidant status, poor thyroid and adrenal function, toxic stress, poor detoxification and methylation and so on. All these can be tested for, identified and corrected using nutritional supplements and possibly hormones. Once the general approach to restoring health has been applied, these tests will help to identify the bolt-on extras for other disease processes. The link to the above website is here http://www.drmyhill.co.uk/ The outcome has just been announced that the General Medical Council has banned her for 18 months to prescribe drugs, it’s unbelievable, here’s some of the things she’s been ‘done’ for:- One of the complaints was on the content of Dr Myhill's website, which warned patients against oral contraceptives, the MMR triple vaccine as well as mammogram tests and biopsies for cancer. But Dr Mygill says she tries to find the causes of a disease, rather than treating the symptoms with drugs. She said in a statement on her website that a group of doctors have complained about her recommending a B12 vitamin injection to a patient. A second complainant said the information on her website was " very worrying " and was concerned " patients are being seriously misled " . She told BBC Wales: " I think there's a small group of doctors who perceive me as a threat to their professional integrity in some way and that is certainly not my desire to in any way threaten them. " My motive is purely to help the patient to get well in as safe a way as is possible.
