Kim,

Please contact , KRL528@... . She will be able to recommend the

appropriate doctor. She lives in Ohio. I do know she drives 5 hours to see

her doctor. Lyme is a clinical diagnosis because the tests are unreliable.

This is why you need to see someone who is knowledgeable, not just

" familiar " with the disease. Your rashes can be attributed to other tick

borne diseases and must be tested for as well. Rocky Mountain Spotted fever

can cause rashes on the palms and feet. Babesia can cause anemia.

Good Luck,

a

Kim--

DO NOT GO TO CLEVELAND CLINIC FOR LYME!!! I repeat--do not go to

cleveland clinic for lyme!!! One of the Doctors in the Rheumatology

Department (Dr. Wilke) is a personal friend of Dr. Steere and goes by

his recommendations (he has influenced the entire department!!!). I

know this for a fact because I was caught up in the mess for awhile. If

you need a llmd within driving distance of Cleveland (I live in Avon,

Ohio), email me directly and I will give you the name and address to

contact my llmd. He is very good and has brought me back to being a

functioning human being again. I repeat, DO NOT GO TO CLEVELAND CLINIC

FOR LYME!!!! You will only cause yourself alot of pain, heartache, and

precious time in treating this awful disease!!

Don't misunderstand me, the Cleveland Clinic is a world known hospital

and they have made great strides in many areas, just not lyme. I would

go there, and have, for many other problems. Just not Lyme!!

They were a waste of time for me also. They never tested for lyme, when I had a

swollen foot, with a red streak. That is common with tick bites.

Over the years, several lymepatients have complained, sometimes bitterly, about

Cleveland Clinic. Rita
