Guest guest
Hopefully you are aware of the very strong correlation (inverse) with vitamin D and MS. It is imperative that you get your vitamin D status tested. There is a simple blood test, 25(OH)D, and your level should be greater than 50ng/mL (125 nmol/L). Check www.vitamindcouncil.org There is a wealth of information including periodic newsletters, references to studies, etc. Vitamin D3 is extremely inexpensive, and there is no reason not to get levels into the optimal range, either by supplementing, or by getting sun exposure (without sunblock but without burning). I purchase 250 count capsules of 5000 IU D3 for $9.00, which is about a years supply when combined with a little sun exposure in the summer months.
