I know that some people on The Roadback Foundation board who deal with RA take doxy and LDN. No problem...I can't answer on the cortisone...I think there is a limit one can take with LDN.

[low dose naltrexone] LDN and RA

What dose is used for RA?

I am also taking 100 mg. doxycycline hyclate at night right before bed as a DMARD for my RA. Can I continue to take this until I see the LDN working?

Thanks

Pat

I see no problem there....what works for me is .25mg Melatonin and 500 mg Inositol about 1 hr before I go to bed and then .25mg Lorazepam just before I hit the pillow...lately on LDN, I'm finding I need less Lorazepam so I bite a piece off that .25mg....

But if what you take works, good.

I also take 50 MG. OF Benadryl at night a hour before bed to help me sleep.

Can I continue t take this once I start the LDN?

Pat, 4 months tomorrow on LDN and I still have vivid dreams...but I enjoy my dreams...It's my other life when I go to sleep. I don't know that they go away...to me this is a pleasurable side effect.

I do not dream, at least I don’t remember my dreams<gr>

1 of the side effects is vivid memorable dreams the 1st week for some folks

Has anyone had this side effect when they first started with LDN?

I assume it went away or you still wouldn’t be taking the LDN?
