I found that one of the doctors (and I don't remember which) was saying

that he thinks LDN should be taken on an empty stomach because it needs to

be quick release, and having it with food turns it into slow release.

However before I found that, I was taking it with my late night snack and I

was seeing results from the LDN. I do though now take it on an empty

stomach, which means ideally 3 hours after a meal and 1 hour before. I

don't always wait an hour after I take it for my snack, often 30 mins.

I know that the site www.low dose naltrexone.org says that LDN can be taken

with any food etc except for the known exceptions for opioids or more than

10mg/day of prednisone, etc., and I initially interpreted that as " able to

be taken at the same time " but since I just started and then found the

other info about quick release, changed to empty stomach. I know for sure

that many people take it with food and still feel the effects.
