Hi Sheryl,

I'm really excited to hear that you are thinking of making your own

alcohol using a still. I've been making herbal medicines for many years,

and am very interested in potentially making my own organic alcohol. I'd

love to hear more about how this goes for you, if you end up getting a

still. And thanks too, for the grape alcohol source. I currently get all

my alc from Aper, but it's so pricey once you add the tax, and I haven't

yet decided to pay the extra price to go all organic, though this is

definitely my preference! take care, and keep me posted! Suzy

I often use brandy. It's distilled wine. It seems to work fine and is easy

to find.

No, I use 40 proof. I heard that's what they use in TCM with garlic and

ginger so I tried it. I just started using it. I haven't had any problems so

far though.
