ADJUNCTS:

ELEUTHEROCOCCUS-Siberian Ginseng- (immune tonic, supports adrenals,

antidepressant): ½ to 1 tsp tincture upon rising and noon; go slowly as it may

be too energizing and promote insomnia. Raintree Nutrition, 1st Chinese, W.E.

SARSPARILLA ROOT-Similax glabra and other species-(binds endotoxins to lessen

herx reactions, antispirochetal, modulates immune response, anti-inflamatory,

neuroprotective, recduces skin responses, pain relief, protects liver): 425-500

mg caps. 1 to 3 caps 3-4 times daily for 8-12 mo. Titrate up slowly. Maintain

highest dose for 60 days minimum. 1st Chinese, W.E.

STEPHANIA ROOT-Stephania tetrandra, S. cepharantha-(anti-inflammatory, good for

eye and ear involvement, late stage Lyme infections of nervous system, joints,

and skin & Bell's Palsy; caution if Lyme carditis): ½-1 tsp of tincture 3 times

daily. 1st Chinese, W.E.
