Guest guest
I have been a member of this group for awhile but had trouble with the herbs causing tremendous ab pain so I went another route (colloidal silver and rife machine). I have had dramatic improvement since last fall. I have plateaued so I have added the salt/vitamin C protocol recently. Too soon to say what impact it is having but I never see mention of it here so for those members unfamiliar with this option, you can read about it on lymestrategies. It is relatively inexpensive. It sounds simple enough but there is a ramp-up schedule that many do not know or adhere to and this can be the difference between doing well and really making yourself sicker. deb

Guest guest
someone told me that the embedded link here does not work and I tested and it doesn't but the group indeed exists. Do a search of groups and enter lymestrategies and that should pull it up. deb > > I have been a member of this group for awhile but had trouble with the herbs causing tremendous ab pain so I went another route (colloidal silver and rife machine). Guest guest
Hi Deb, Couldn't find the group you listed. It was not available. I have heard conflicting stories about colloidal silver and the Rife machine, so I don't know what to believe. There is so much stuff out there, that you also have to be careful and use your own common sense and discern. Colloidal silver is a metal and I would think that could cause toxicity in the body. I know the guy who came up with the Rife machine. Well, actually he took an old invention and made the Rife Machine. What worked the best? I would think the Rife machine would be safer. I am doing high doses of vitamin C IV myself and that seems to help a lot with the fatigue and herxheimer reactions. After a dose I am able to go out a little. Guest guest
The group does exist so go to and then search groups for lymestrategies. I use a rife machine made by Meissner Research. There is a group for that called dougplus. A good group of people. Re colloidal silver (CS), it is not toxic, at least I have seen no indication of that. I was drinking about 16 oz. a day of homebrewed stuff that I make using distlled water and a CS generator. There are so many rife machines, I don't know why I chose this one but many people claim to have had very good results with it. I'm certainly better than when I started. It puts out frequencies so hard to say what effect it has on the body. Rosner who wrote a book about Lyme and Rife just posted this link earlier today: http://lymebook.com/blog/research-news/rife-for-lyme-gets-usa-hospital-study-by-\ \ east-coast-physician/ deb > > > Deb57 > > > > I have been doing this for two months and it sure helps me with my low grade fevers. > > > > Jeannie > > Have a good day! > > > > [ ] OT: Salt/Vitamin C protocol > > > > I have been a member of this group for awhile but had trouble with the herbs causing tremendous ab pain so I went another route (colloidal silver and rife machine). CS CAN be very toxic; that may depend on how it was produced (there are many different forms, and some people make it at home).

Guest guest
Yes, I believe if someone doesn't know what they are doing. I make my own distilled water first and measure with a meter to make sure it is pure. I use a CS generator from Meissner Research which supposedly makes very small particles of ionic silver. I measure the output for ppm which gives the concentration of particles. Some people have added salts to the water to improve the conductivity and speed the process. But this actually creates silver salts which are the cause of argyria. deb > > > > Re colloidal silver (CS), it is not toxic, at least I have seen no indication of that. Sure, anything can be toxic. But, look at the number of problems with colloidal silver versus anything big pharma produces -- heck, even over the counter stuff like asprin. Colloidal silver, imo, has saved many lives and healed many things with almost no side affects. Whereas, most big pharma stuff just treats, doesn't cure, and has horrendous side effects. If someone produces CS, they need to make sure they are doing it properly -- just like any other home remedy. ~Mimi www.iammimi.com
Guest guest
There is a great faq at http://www.silver-colloids.com/ that is worth reading. The man who turned " blue " was NOT taking colloidal silver at all but silver nitrate! BTW his only side effect even then was discoloration, he actually was healthy. www.lyme-resource.com You can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! - > Re: [ ] Re: OT: Salt/Vitamin C protocol > > i remember seeing the man who turned blue by taking too much > collidial silver > > On Sun, Aug 22, 2010 at 9:10 AM, knot_weed <tek0nik@...> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Re colloidal silver (CS), it is not toxic, at least I have seen no > > indication of that. Guest guest
i saw the man who turned blue on the oprah winfrey show. i just googled " man who turned blue oprah winfrey " and it goes to her website and it states there that he was using collidial silver however, he claims that he did not turn blue until he started putting it on his face, dr. oz did not address if this is medically how it happened. i did not address the fact that he was healthy or not i just wanted to get that piece of interesting info out there on one man's experience with collidial silver. Guest guest
Thanks I found that article! Yes he did say he was using CS. But seems he was mistaken. Here's an analysis of what was really going on http://www.silver-colloids.com/Pubs/blue-man.html I have enclosed a paragraph that has some of the pertinent facts from the article below. ....This was dramatically demonstrated by Karason who the news media has dubbed " The Blue Man " . Although the news media has continually said that he was taking colloidal silver, nothing could be further from the truth. Interviews with him have determined that he not only was NOT taking colloidal silver, but was following a protocol that would almost certainly lead to his condition. He obviously did not read this report, since if he had, he surely would never have done what he did. First he was adding sea salt to his distilled water, and was not using any current limit. Thus what he was making was silver chloride, a silver compound well known to cause argyria, NOT colloidal silver. He had NO colloidal silver at all in his brew. Instead of being crystal clear, as properly made ionic silver is, he had so much silver chloride in it, that it looked more like milk than water. It is likely that he had 100 ppm of silver or more in his concoction, whereas 10 ppm is typical for normal CS. He did not limit current, or do any of the things necessary to make a good colloid. This is important, since argyria can only be expected when high levels of silver SALTS are taken. On top of that he applied it directly to his skin, effectively making his skin a photographic plate, and used tanning beds to " Fix " the silver in his skin. Researchers such as myself have been warning people about this for almost 10 years now, long before people started reporting the problem. Obviously he did not get the memo! I really don't think I could have come up with a better protocol to turn blue. It is almost identical to a method I had played with to produce tattoos by putting silver chloride on the skin, and exposing to light via a template to produce a blue tattoo... > Re: [ ] Re: OT: Salt/Vitamin C protocol > > > > > > i remember seeing the man who turned blue by taking too much > > > collidial silver > > > > > > On Sun, Aug 22, 2010 at 9:10 AM, knot_weed > > > <tek0nik@...<tek0nik%40>> > > wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Re colloidal silver (CS), it is not toxic, at least I > have seen > > > > > no > > > > indication of that.
