Guest guest
Is there anyone on this list that has problems with a harsh voice. My daughter will be seeing an ENT in July. I wish we could get her in earlier. But since she was born she lost her voice easy and she also sounded very harsh. She is also very tempermental and I feel there is much going on with her than she can tell us. Her throat has several times swollen and they had to put her on steroids to decrease the swelling. She also gets impetigo a lot. Not so much now as she did a year ago. I am so worried about her voice and I have a fear that she will lose it for good. I had been telling the doctors for a long time now that something was wrong. Finally her speech pathologist demanded from her peditrichian that needed special care. It has been quite a month..she has been sick with reoccuring strep throat. Some ear infections. She has also been having an episode with her leg where she complains it hurts and has even fallen a few times. I am getting very frustrated with the doctors. They just don't seem to listen to me about the lyme disease. Celeste my one daughter with Dandy malformation, failure to thrive and hydrocephalus was tested once just to humor me ..but she was given one of the worst tests given for Lyme. I am getting very worried about my children. I mean I can live with this ..but I hate watching my children suffer. Myesha my other daughter is on the nebulizer for asthma..but she gets constant croop, colds, bronchitis. All my children are getting sick. Sorry about dishing this all out on you guys. But Dr. B's protocol and so forth...is not convincing any doctor. I love living in Idaho but I hate the doctors. No one seems to take anything seriuosly around here. and beleive me we have been to several different daughters. I hate to watch my children suffer when they get sick so often ...and they always get very high fevers. but does anyone have trouble with their voice..is it common. I love to sing and I know how to use it right (I took many singing lessons) but lately my throat always feels sore and singing makes it worse. I also have constant pain in my face and jaw and even my gums and tongue. I have also been having numbness on the top of my head....has anyone experienced this. I am just getting so frustrated right now I need a little boost. I know I can always count on you guys.......I just want to scream ENOUGH...HELP Cyntha Landon Idaho wish I the money to go elsewhere...stupid insurance referrals and restrictions.
