Guest guest
Wait until you get a diagnosis. The standard therapy is pain management. Usually Ibuprofen will help some for you. Use Ice packs or a heating pad also. Your best offense is a good defense. www.google.com and type in New Diagnosis for Rheumatoid Arthritis. www.arthritisfoundation.org is a great resource too. Read up on what the disase is, what treatments are, medications etc for a start. yours, Deborah On 8/19/06, labb311 <labb311@...> wrote: HiI went to a rheumy and had labs. On both hands, the area between each knuckle is swollen (the knuckles on the top of my hands). Is this normal for RA?Also, I don't know if I'm early in this disease, but I'm achey everywhere. I know people have mentioned pain - mine seems to be constant achiness. I'm not on any meds yet. I was wondering if the pain will be coming? Thanks so much. Guest guest
Hello , How are you doing ? Well the labs tell a story that your rheumy will read with your symptoms to help get a dx. As for achey , I guess on my best days I don't know if I could actualy say that it's been so long since I remember but normaly by time you figure out someting is wrong and run through the hoops My oppion is you've had RA a while or in my case but still My rheumy called me early stage but it's destoryed one foot , my toes a shoulder along with oa my knees and messed up my lungs now so I honestly wonder what the stages are time wise now my fingers hurt most allways in the knuckes them selves ( the frist joint of the fingers above the hand ) and the joint at the hand itself allso .. johnlabb311 <labb311@...> wrote: Hi I went to a rheumy and had labs.
