I get them frequently but only...

....when I have sex from the " front " where pressure is

put on my urethra.

Actually, not " only " but " always " really. That and bike

riding, horseback riding, etc. Frustrating to watch all

the bicyclists riding by outside my window :(

For a long time I did have good luck with cranberry pills,

so that might be worth a try...

Dear - I think that because of your reconstruction, bacteria from your intestines are somehow relocating into your bladder to cause the infection. Secondarily, Bacteria can be pushed up into your bladder during sexual activity. Let me see what I can find out about that and let you know. Hugs, Deborah

Here is some information on UTIs. I would try to use a different position first off, and use a condom as well as proper lubrication. Urinate right afterward and clean yourself up. I used to get klebsiella bacteria which always gave me a yeast infection. Using a condom helped keep that at bay.
