Guest guest
There was actually a map accompanying the NY Times article today (7/!) I don't know how accurate it is but I was surprised to see Florida on it. I have been told so many times that there is no Lyme in Florida! Guest guest
Dear Sheila, LMAO!! I spent the last almost 30 years in Florida, so if I did not get it in FL, my children (aged 26 and 18) need to be tested as well as my grandchildren. A complete two-county support group dx'd with CFS/ME/FMS were tested for Lyme and came up positive. I used to go to that support group when I was physically able. My health has deteriorated since I went on disability, that was not supposed to happen, and it is still going downhill. The more I read about Lyme, the more scared of it I become. What if I have had it since I was a child? I already have a drop in IQ, tell people to treat me like an exhausted, retarded person and they won't be disappointed. I guess that if this doc does not start me on Long Term Abx real soon I will be looking elsewhere for a real LLMD> Hugs from a Light-HouseKeeper finally in Pennsylvania (Anyone can clean the house, only you can catch up on your rest,) Michele E.
