Guest guest
I think volunteering is important and always try to work it into my life somehow. There are many volunteer jobs involving phone calling-- perhaps you would get satisfaction out of helping others in such a way. (although with 6 kids you are already doing a lot of giving-- listening, supporting, etc.) Most communities have a volunteer center that helps individuals link up with agencies that need them. Guest guest
Miriam, I do not have it as bad as you right now. But when I first got diagnosed, I was lying in bed all the time from the pain. When I was "layed up" I worked puzzles, read books, played games on my laptop. Another very rewarding thing I did was volunteer to do phone solicitation for the local dog shelter. My goodness, I would think that your rheumy could change some of your meds to make you more mobile. You are more than welcome to talk about it some more w/ me if you need to, I am a good listener/reader. Good luck, and god bless in WVmpalevsky_bunnylover <mpalevsky@...> wrote: My name is Miriam and I have severe RA that just keeps getting worse.
