Guest guest
Hi Lynn, The MRI it self isn't bad but like you I am claustrophobic and I also have trouble with my arms because if they are above my head they pop out of place and if they are by my side they go to sleep. They can give you something for the claustrophobia like versed or valium. Make sure you get enough and make them give it to you about 15 min. before the procedure. the WV Hillbilly the WV hillbilly PeoplePC Online A better way to Internet http://www.peoplepc.com
Guest guest
Good Morning, Thanks to all who responded - at least I know I am not alone! Thanks for all the suggestions - wish me luck - I have to try this again on Monday AM. Failing list I will have to go on a wait list for the new Open Sided MRI machine that is not covered by Health Care. Guest guest
Dear Fern- I have to admit that the long machines are hard to take. I have been lucky that I have had only the short barrel scanners. I did once have a long one and I barely made it through. Good luck on Monday.
