Guest guest
The same CDC site has a chart for " catch up " vaccines. Look at the line for Hib and see what age your son was last vaccinated to see if 4th dose is called for. Guest guest
There are ways to prepare for the vaccines and make them a little safer (link provided off list at request). The only other options it seems are to keep your child at home or find another day care that will take an exemption. Guest guest
I know homeopathy has some medicine to nullify the effect of vaccine but it needs to be given within a few hours of vaccine. My homeopath in india had told me that. Try exploring it in your town if you know a homeopath > > > Thank you very much for your response. Guest guest
Then I'd find another doctor who will write the note. nancy j From: DIANA <dmniemes@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Hib Tybe B Vaccine & Daycare Date: Friday, June 4, 2010, 9:09 AM Â Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately, the day care won't accept the exemption unless it's with a doctor's note and our doctor said they can't provide us with that note. > > > > > > > We would like to start our 23 month old son in daycare 2 to 3 times a week > > but when I went to the doctor to get a copy of his vaccination records > > they're telling me he needs an extra shot of the Hib Vaccine in order to be > > able to go into daycare. Guest guest
If he has been diagnosed with autism some physicians may give you a MEDICAL exemption also. Guest guest
Check Titers is also a possibility. Guest guest
If he has had that vaccine before, you can get his titers tested. May want to check with day care if they will be ok with that report from the doc/lab. ________________________________ From: detoxhealing <detoxhealing@...> Sent: Sat, June 5, 2010 3:05:59 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Hib Tybe B Vaccine & Daycare Can you get a religious exemption? You don't want to be vaccinating him anymore... Guest guest
Hi, I am not sure where you live, but you should be able to get a vaccine exemption from your Doctor or from your state.. Click on Health Department and scroll down to vaccine exemptions, follow the directions from there.. If your daycare still does not except these two suggestions, I would listen to your voice and find another daycare.. You are paying them remember.. I hope this helps and good luck..
