Guest guest
, Most of us here are knowledgable but as far as I know there are no professional medical type people here. Guest guest
Hello 3/11/04, In reference to your comment: è There is a company here in Idaho, è Progressive-Life.com, who buys different kinds of life è insurance policies. I am thinking about selling my life è insurance policy to them to pay for medical expenses è and to leave something to my family (just in case). I è don't want to do mortgage our house 'cause I don't è want to leave my love ones with bills in the event I è pass away. Personally, and based on what I have seen so far, è I think senior life settlement is good for me BUT I need è a second opinion from someone who really had an è experience selling their life insurance policy. I have no experience but if you go to Google.com and run a search you will get 676,000 hits. Here are a few. Guest guest
What was your surgery? How old are you? Could you get your docs to do a TKR? Ann Please help me! I just wrote a post a few minutes ago, but I can't stress enough about how much pain I am in. It is so bad that I don't get out of bed very often because I find that everything I do causes this severe pain like I am being scalded with boiling water type of pain that lingers for up to a week if I don't put myself in bed until the swelling goes down and this happens if I do the wrong thing like normal people do and that is, bend, sit, stand, or anything like this. Now, I choose to be laid up because it is either that or end up with excruciating scalding fire pain. I take pain medication, but I can't imagine trying to live like this for the rest of my life. Does anyone know if there is some sort of resolution like kneecap removal or neuroablation to kill the nerves that are causing this pain under and around the kneecaps. I have had surgery already. Now what? My 2 orthopods don't believe in kneecap removal like they did 10 years ago when this was the only treatment for severe pain. I did some research and they said that chronic pain was one of the reasons to to ever remove kneecaps now. I think I meet the critera due to pain. HELP! Guest guest
Hello Ann, Thank you so much for responding. I have no alignment problems so that would not be needed. I was injured from loading my body incorrectly for 6 weeks or so. I since read that you can cause permanent damage in as little as 2 weeks! I am 46 years old. I am almost at the end of my rope trying to cope with pain and I am even on pain medication! Someone mentioned that they were given an option for removal. I want to talk with that person. I am willing to take the risk of removal if it will end this pain that I am in. I don't care if I end up on crutches for the rest of my life I just want to stop this pain under and around my kneecaps. Thanks so much for your reply Ann. Guest guest
Well, I meant a total knee replacement. Since that would replace everything in the knee except the outer part of the kneecap (and the soft tissues), it should get rid of the source of pain. You're old enough to insist on a TKR if you think it would help. When you say you " loaded your body incorrectly " for 6 weeks or so what do you mean by loading your body incorrectly? Ann Please help me! > > > I just wrote a post a few minutes ago, but I can't stress enough > about how much pain I am in. Guest guest
Here's where all kinds of information is about the test. https://www.ptcb.org/AM/Template.cfm? Section=Guidebook_to_Certification & Template=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm & Con tentID=1820 And your question in particular - School/Training Program Code [Page 2: Box 15] A list of pharmacy technician schools and training programs with corresponding codes is located on our website (www.ptcb.org). If you do not have access to the website, please leave the section blank. If you have successfully graduated from or are currently attending any of the school/training programs listed, write the corresponding code in the spaces provided in Box 15. Fill in the corresponding oval under each space. If your school/training program is not listed, please fill in the code for " Other. " If you received On-The-Job training and did not graduate from a formal training program, please fill in the code for On-The- Job Training. Other 0000 On-The-Job Training 9999 Hope this helps. The rest of the guidebook is helpful also. Good luck. > > Hello everyone, > > I read at ptcb.org website that you have to input a pharm tech > school code in order to complete the registration for PTCB exam. > However, I haven't gotten any formal training in school, so what > should I put for that part? > > > Another problem is that I've tried to look at Jeanetta's link on " Books > and Study Guides Available for Review for PTCB exam.doc " , but it does > not work. Guest guest
Dear Fallingsky, I cannot answer your first question but hopefully someone else can. As for your second question please follow my directions and let me know if they work (or not): The names of the files or documents that are listed in " A Study Plan " will not open as links, they are not links per se. Therefore you must 1. Go directly to the site: 2. Look at the LEFT side of the screen, there is a menu. Currently it is light green and may change to light yellow in a day or two. Find the `Files' link Click on the 'Files' link 3. Scroll to the second yellow Folder and open it 2- Books and Study Guides A list of many, not all of study guidebooks available on the market. Jeanetta's reviews and opinions about those listed. 4. There will be two documents in that folder. Open the first one it will take a while to open it as it has many pictures/photos, be patient: Books and Study Guides Review for PTCB - 2007.doc Updated version of the original 2002, updated 2003, by Jeanetta. I have placed a list of study materials here on this site. This is not a complete list, there are others available. If you would like me to include a book, video or CD in this listing please email me privately. I have given my comments and personal rating. Jeanetta Let me know if this does not work! 'Once again someone " thinks " that balance need be applied to a scientific issue.
