Subject: [ ] Adrenals - and Dana

, I have tried 's Naturopathic Adrenals Xtra with Rhodiola Extract

and whole herb. They recommend you take 3 tablets for an 650mg dose of

Ashwagnadha Root, Rhodiola Rosea Root and etc. While I was cooking breakfast, I

popped a piece of cake in my mouth (to quiet my hunger while I was cooking). I

began to get hypoglycemic and dizzy within 10 minutes and couldn't even eat my

breakfast.

I'd just stared the Adrenal Extra the previous day, taking a dose morning and

afternoon. I immediately discontinued and ordered the Thorne ACE. I'm doing 4 of

the 50mg tablets once to twice a day to equal 2 of the discontinued ACE I use to

get from grass fed New Zealand cattle. I'm not noticing the same level of

support as the old product gave yet, but I'm not getting hypoglycemic either. I

will continue to adjust and test various doses.

Dana - what kind of nasty experience did you have with Thorne ACE? I hadn't

heard about anything like this before (many seem to have switched over to it?)

I'm not yet sure if Thorne ACE is going to work for me (I ordered the 50mg

capsules from Iherb but subsequently saw they also make them in 150mg.) Perhaps

I'm just underdosed?

We've used Adrenal cortex for five years. It has been one of the most useful

supplements. Kept us off anxiety meds. We have finally gotten enough chelation

done to take my son off of it, but my daughter and I are still on it.

I've also worked with hundreds of parents/kids who have used it and have also

benefited from it without ill effect.

Thorne is rather low dose, if you need more try Adrenergize or Cardiovascular

Research Cortol. These are 250mg and 350mg adrenal cortex. This is what we are

using now rather than taking so many Thorne caps a day.

We have successfully used several brands of adrenal cortex Adrenergize, Cortol

ACE, and Biomax liquid for adrenals (depending upon which was cheaper/easier to

obtain at the time).

All have been instrumental in controlling anxiety in my children. Four of my 6

children are using it and have for quite a while now. Love this product.

Chelation would be extremely difficult without it.
