Guest guest
So did I! I had my first one at 4 years old, and remember it clearly. I had a bad reaction to caffergot and years ago that was the only thing for it, so I just assumed there was nothing I could do. I would go for days with that horrible throbbing and nausea, working or whatever, and just gritting my teeth and holding on. I finally mentioned to my primary care physician that I got migraines, and she immediately prescribed it. It was a true miracle drug -- I have a whole new life with it. Nothing I've ever experienced or had done has been as bad as the pain from those(I even had bladder surgery under a local anesthetic and it didn't come close). In an ironic way, it equipped me to deal with RA a whole lot easier. I've learned to watch for the aura and be aware of what's happening, and I can prevent almost 99% of them. I'm also getting less of them too. I've been on it for about ten years. ----- Original Message ----- From: john stratton Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Tuesday, January 03, 2006 8:34 AM Subject: Re: Re: endometriosis and RA ( OT ) Yes ,,, and it's the only thing I founld that worked for me in 20 some years the tricky part is knowing how soon before hand to take it or you can still wind up with a knock down bad one , then I got a bisophere HTZ betta blocker that done the trick stoped them all to geather and I had multilble migrians weekly since I was a youngester !
