I can stay inside all day long, never break a sweat, and by bedtime I need to reapply anti-perspirant! I don't EVEN try to wear deodorant, even though anti-perspirant contains aluminum.....but I do use the Tom's of Maine brand, as I'm sure its a lot safer that most other anti-perspirants. My naturopath told me that the body odor is generally a sign of glandular problems, more specifically I think adrenal insufficiency was mentioned. When I discussed this with my herb lady, she said its in the blood so to speak. We discussed this issue and she relayed some interesting information to me. She said that she attended a lectur in which the speaker discussed cleaning out the blood.....he said he wears no deodorant, bathes twice a day, and has NO body odor. She explained that it takes 90 days to clean the blood, which can be done several ways. She also told me of her " bloodless " birth. She had been on the candida program and then, like most of us, fell off the wagon because she was feeling so good. After the birth of her first child she lost an incredible amount of blood...which I thought was " normal " in childbirth. After that, she was determined to NOT let that happen again, so she began eating right again and taking her supplements. She said with her second child she lost NO blood....not even the " liver clot " that women who have had babies can relate to, another thing I thought was normal. I have to say in staying on the candida program, that I can see a difference in my menstrual cycle. Don't know if this exactly answers your question, but to me, cleaning out your body, strengthening your systems, and eating properly should correct the problem, over time. Guest guest
I just remembered another case of body odor. A friend of mine had a bad problem with it.......even anti-perspirant couldn't protect her for long. However, after she went on synthroid (for her thyroid) the body odor completely disappeared and now she uses nothing in the way of anti-perspirant nor deodarant. This has been the only change she has made to her system, as she hasn't started eating properly nor has she done any cleanses. I wish I could say synthroid did this for me, but unfortunately neither it, nor any of the glandular extracts, has rid me of body odor, nor helped my thyroid. annette
Guest guest
Hi I am really shy and have been reading all the emails for about a year now. I have learned a lot from everyone but never felt the need to respond until now. These are my thoughts on body odor and how I've dealt with it. It started out at my feet, (I have never talked about this to anyone-too embarassing but I felt compelled to help)then slowly it was head to toe. It took over 2 years to get really unbearable. It was embarassing to say the least. I thought it was everyone but me. That is when I really started researching yeast and related syndromes. In my experience, the odor is from having dye off but the medicine is not strong enough to wipe it out so you keep repeating the cycle and you build up immunity. You are probably doing all the right things but your medicine is not strong enough to wipe it out in my opinion. I usually had hot and cold sweats all during the day and especially at night. If I ate something with carbohydrates, the odor was worse. I try to stay on the protein diet and if I eat a lot of moldy foods like cheese, it will come back but not like it was a few years ago. I was miserable. I tried covering it up with all kinds of powders, scrubbing the skin off my feet in the sho! wer, you name it. A lot of peopl e swear by herbal's to rid the yeast butI've tried it all. I made my own tea from all kinds of loose herbs and yes it really did help but the prescription medicine was the key for me. I was taking Sporonox, Diflucan, Nystatin and Nizoral. I interchanged these about every two days. I would take the diflucan(200mg) with the nystatin and then the sporonox with the nystatin, then the nizoral with the nystatin. This is the only time I noticed my eyesight cleared, my ears were not stopped up anymore, my sinuses were much better, the odor was gone, and I felt really really tired so I knew I was having dye off. And my breath was rank. I have figured out that when I have too much yeast in my body my breath & salvia, is really a very sweet taste all the time. Not a good sign. Unfornuately I have access to these med's and the literature to get all the prescribing information and side effects. I know it's expensive and it's even harder to convince you physician that you have a yeast proble! m and this is what you will need to treat it. They want to give you more antibiotics which makes it even worse. I try to stay away from them.I hope I have not offended anyone. So many times I see people replying to emails trying to help and so many get offended. This is what I did and what worked for me. Everyone is different. I just felt I had to share my experience with the group.
Guest guest
When you tried the bowel cleansers did they remove any black plaque, mucus, ropes, etc...? If not, then those products aren't doing their job. You need to see results in the toilet. Also your bowel cleansing needs to continue for a period of 3-7 years. It is possible for some to get cleaned up in a years time but you have to stop the cleanse, take a break and then start again. Since the colonics produced more symptoms of an after odor its logical to me that is was doing its job. Our body eliminates debris from every part of our skin glands and organs. What may be most helpful is finding someone in homeopathic medicine that could help your organs to dump this debris with herbs. Also I would try doing the kidney and gallbladder/liver flush before bowel cleansing. This will help your organs clear away stones and cholesterol so that elimination will not back up in you system. That is what it sounds like what it is doing. LIZ D LIZ D Body odor Thanks for responding guys. I do have a really BAD case of foot odor. my breath, a.. everything stinks!! I'm pretty desperate, I have been dealing with this since '87 I would just like to walk with my Head UP again. Guest guest
You're right. You should have your liver enzymes checked regularly when taking Sporonox & Nizoral. BUT I never have had a liver test during these " yeast years " . I did notice that Diflucan did not work alone and I had to take higher doses then recommended. A long time ago I read that it takes the same amount of time that it took you to get to that candidiasis stage, to get rid of it with drug therapy. If someone had it unknowingly for over 3 years then it would take about that long to get rid of it.I am not sure if that is true, I can only tell you what I experienced. The yeast become immune to Diflucan quickly so I always took a nystatin with it and then nystatin 2 more times a day without the diflucan. I was taking 400mg(Diflucan) 2 x day at the beginning. That is a high dosage but I felt I was at the stage where I needed aggressive therapy or I was going to go insane. I would rather not say where I got the Antifungals, but it was not through my family physician. I have so much empathy for everyone who does not have access to these medicines the way I do. I wish you did. I feel sure if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to handle all the symptons, fatigue, blurred vision, etc. Even today I am surrounded by people (lot's) with the same symptons that I had (and have) & I try to talk to them and enlighten them on the subject of candidiasis, but no matter how educated they are, they do not want to hear it and they look at me with such disbelief that I get so annoyed. I offer litature to support the symptons but they won't even open the first page. I hope this helps somewhat and I will be praying that it works out, that you all will get through to your doctor(get him to believe) and then he will prescribe accordingly. Guest guest
I read both online and a candida book that candida can cause breath, foot, hair, or body odor. > > does anyone suffer from body odor? Guest guest
Jeanne wrote: > What causes....or how does Candida cause a horrible body odor that smells like rotting meat or rotten something? Candida overgrowth is only intended to happen when the body dies, in order to break down the body. So you can imagine how much damage candida toxins are doing, busily destroying and breaking down the body while you are alive. The toxins may very well be rotting our bodies. One lady I knew had brain lesions, like ulcers, in her brain. After doing the candida program her tests showed no lesion anymore. It's similar to alcoholics where their livers are rotting because of the alcohol. Foul body odors and bad breath mainly come from the intestines, where most of the candida overgrowth is happening. Poor digestion is the main cause, but candida toxins, which are mainly alcohol, are everywhere and the body is trying hard to get rid of it through any way possible. Toxins are eliminated through the skin, lungs, kidneys, liver, bowels, and every orifice of the body, i.e. mouth, nose, ears, eyes, sexual organs, etc. Therefore it is important to aggressively and consistently do the candida program. Lots of good probiotics help with body odors and bad breath. Also liquid chlorophyll and lemon juice with sea salt drinks can help in many ways: 1) help with detoxing, 2) increase digestion, 3) provide trace minerals that are so important for body functions. Chlorophyll is also a deodorizer and cleanser for the bowels, which also chelates out heavy metals. I hope that helps, Bee
Guest guest
It's been my experience that sugars/fruits, breads, crackers, etc. cause body odor. It's my understanding that a " not-so-normal " body odor is caused from the Candida eating (the sugars/carbs) and depositing it's " waste " inside our body. This waste is what causes intense body odor....among many other symptoms. Also, I experienced intense body odor when I went through my initial bout of " die-off " . Obviously this is not a very glamorous time in life; to smell, to feel like hell, to have no energy, and to have a foggy brain. Stay the course and the Sun shall shine again! Guest guest
I use baking soda in my bath water. It helps too. But I never seem to need to use it underarms or otherwhere. I drink several gulps of liquid green chlorophyll every day. It's wonderful to help stop body odor. I've been drinking it for about a month now & I've noticed the body odor has practially disappeared. The kind I buy from the health food store is made from alfalfa. Hope this helps others. It will turn your tongue & teeth green so they must be rinsed & /or brushed afterwards tho. It's a great purifier in & of itself, however. I used it successfully about 15 years ago when I was treating my candida at that time with juice diets mostly, seed sprouts, wheat berry rejuvelac & raw foods. I don't recommend treating it that way, however. That diet caused me other digestive problems. It took a Chinese accupuncturist to tell me to start eating cooked, warm food again. I also don't think I was getting enough protein in my diet since I haven't eaten hardly any meat or fish for years since then. With hypothyroidism, one needs to be on a high protein diet. So Bee's diet fits the bill perfectly for a lot of my ills & I can tell it's working. Blessings, Caroline From: Janice Ashby I'am sure Bee has comments that would help, but I use baking soda from the health store and put in under my arms, just after I get out of the shower while the skin is still moist. Guest guest
You're just getting rid of toxins through your skin, I'm sure. (I'm not an expert like Bee, but I would imagine the lymph system is involved). I'm trying to gradually go " natural " and I just bought a deodorant stone from Mountain Rose Herbs, which is some sort of crystal sodium thingy that you put under running cold water and rub under your arms. It costs $5 and lasts for one year!!! 2 days and no BO, but I haven't had much of a problem in that regard either.... Guest guest
Hi Charise, I think it might be the coconut oil you put on your skin. My husband sometimes puts coconut oil on his skin and to me it smells a little funky. He has been using the kind of coconut oil that tastes like coconuts on his skin because neither one of us can stomach the taste of it anymore. Seems like I can't stomach the smell of it either. > > Hi Bee...Charise. My coleagues at work are complaining about my body > odor. They say it smells musty! It got less intense then went away. I always thought it was the smell of Candida toxins coming out of my skin and mucus membranes. By the way, I think it is also due to my putting coconut oil > > all over my body after showering at times. Please help! Thanks *** I never related it to coconut oil, but applying the coconut oil does help kill the yeast so I suppose you will have a little less die-off from using less coconut oil. I wonder if rinsing with Parsley tea or drinking it would help you. It's supposed to be a natural deodorizer. Marissa
