Guest guest
Regina,As they say in the south, bless your heart. A voice of reason. A voice of reason who is trying to pass that reason on to people who need it.I want to tell you a story that sounds like a "little story" but is not. It is a big story. As one or two of you may know, I was a patient of Dr. St. Amand. Dr SA believes that fibro is caused by malfunctioning cells. When I first talked to Dr SA, I said, People are saying fibro is caused by whiplash or trauma or this or that or the other. Dr SA said, of course that is what they are saying because they are being asked what trauma precipitated this...so they search their minds and come up with something. There is always something. The rear-ender, the cat dying, the kitchen flooding, etc etc etc. This was underlined recently by a segment on 60 Minutes, whereby a woman was supposed to find the rapist in the lineup. The rapist was not in the lineup. But because the victim was told to find him there, she did. The mind is a busy thing. When we start taking LDN we want to see results so the mind goes into overdrive and starts to look for stuff. The stuff we find may not, and in fact, probably does not, have anything whatsoever to do with LDN. This can show up as feeling good so it's because of LDN. Or feeling bad, so it's because of LDN. These moods might have everything to do with hormones and nothing do with LDN. This recent hair loss issue is a good example. Anybody check there adrenals???? Pituitary??? Thyroid??? Of course not. People, I'm here to support Regina and her call to reasonableness. Let's all join in.Barbara Lochner, 276-546-5308
