Having recently re-read " Atlas Shrugged " (Ayn Rand), something really jumped out

at me.

In the book, one of the constant refrains is " Contradictions don't exist. Where

you see a contradiction, go back and check your premise. "

The premise in the opening statement " despite receiving recommended treatment "

is that the recommended treatment is adequate in all cases. Lacking that proof,

the remainder of the article is a waste of ink. Is the failure in the patient,

or is the failure in the treatment?

The CBT types remind me of the State Science Institute idiot in " Atlas " that

would allow anything to be published in his name, as long as the Institute was

funded.
