Hope you all feel better as always-Val >> Hi Val, I am on a gravity feed line. I hook my 2 grams of rocephrin up directly to my picc line and let it drip over 15-30 mins. (I flush my line before iv and after with saline first and then heprin 2nd) its very easy. Last week I was at my folks during iv time and I just hooked my bag to a nail on the wall. It works really smothly. Let me know what they do with you. Hugs Amy

That is exactly what I am doing. I am getting useed to it but the little balls were much easier. By the way I notice that there is always a little medicine left in the drip part of the IV. Is this how yours is too? I sat there for 40min and a little was still left. Also how are you feeling. Is the medicine helping? Are you on any orals as well? Please write when you get a chance. Guest guest
Thanks Reid. I checked with this infusion company and they said my insurance company won't pay for the balls any more. I don't understand because they paid for it the last time. i guess this will have to do for now. It is a liitle more annoying but I am getting used to it. Should I call my insurance comany and ask them? I don't want to rock the boat with the insurance ya know. I hope you are feeling better -Val

I felt great for the first 10 days and have felt yucky since, guess its a sign that its working. I am not currently on any orals, but am considering going back on mepron and zithromax soon LEt me know how you are doing on the meds and what else you are on if anything.
