Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My name is Sullivan Rojas. This is my Lyme story -- I've had diagnosed Lyme for 5 years, but I think I had it for a year or two before they figured out what was wrong. After the first diagnosis I was on disability for about 2 months, but after abx I was almost back to normal. Since then I've had a relapse about once a year. The worst of which happened in Oct of 1996. The abx just didn't seem to work anymore. And by last February I was sicker than ever and back to the point where I had a lot of trouble walking. This time the Lyme also caused nerve damage so I have peripheral neuropathy too. I've been on disability ever since. For those of you who are also stuck at home, how do you deal with the boredom! I had my first round of IV rocpehin, for 21 days in July. I made some improvement but then I started going back downhill. So I started 30 days of IV rocephin about a week and a half ago. I'm herxing, and generally feeling yucky. I live in Broomall, PA. I've noticed several other people are also from PA -- anyone in the area? Well, I just wanted to say hello to everyone. Guest guest
Great response Lovette: but I don't care what they do with Clinton. I'm bored to death of it all. However, I am being brave enough to try to work again, so I don't see much TV anymore....if my eyesight wasn't so blurry I could read more., It seems my eyes can't readjust after reading or watching TV.....is this lyme....or age?????? Regards, Gail
Guest guest
Hi Gail, I am 48, soon to be 49, so my eyesight could be attributed to age, but I doubt it. Mine changes from day to day, hour to hour really, so I think it is Lyme disease that causes it, the eye is a favorite target of the spirochetes....damn little buggers. Good luck trying to return to work, let us know how you do.
