Yes you can get it at this link but ask for the Estradiol Senitive test from

labcorp.

The test in this link is not a good one so you need to call them.

Phew, KennyAll that means is that you have the antibodies for HepC. Well, as you said, you did have it and have been clear, so that could really mean that your Dr. did not call for a viral load. We all will test positive for the antibody till the day we die.Gloria

Wow! Guys, you don't have to jump on me...

You have to remember, I last did this in prison and I don't know how it works out here. I have the test results right here.

It says:(in Bold) Hepatitis C Antibody Reactive

If you cannot tell this way then I think this doctor doesn't know what he's talking about. I agree. I just do not know any better. But now that I had an ear full, maybe I should be asking more questions. I only go by what is said to me and shown to me. That is why I joined this group, to learn and have support. OK?

Gloria,He tested positive for the antibody not the virus....  so far this is still good news.  And if I remember correctly, and Kenny, correct me if I'm wrong, treatment was stopped and not completed.

I mentioned before that I haven't had a test in a few years. I also mentioned that my last test stated I was 'undetected'. Unfortunately, this last test shows that this stubborn virus has once again rinsen from it's slumber. I am very stressed out right now. I realize that I may have to take interferon again. The first time sucked and I don't think this time will be any different. My doctor forgot to find out my viral load so I won't know what that is until the next time I visit (Jan 24). Thank all of you for your support! This group is a real blessing...

Ya, I got that in a later posting by Kenny! I did forget also that treatment was stopped. So let's all pull for Kenny that there is NO viral load.Kenny, you have the perfect right to ask for your results and also ask if a viral load was taken.Gloria

My test results came in at total T of 603. I am self injecting every three

days.

When my doctor ordered the blood test, he observed that, " we really don't

know what we are looking at with these blood levels. they can be all over

the place. " I reminded him that was why I was injecting a small dose every

three days, instead of coming into his office for a large dose once per

three weeks as he had originally prescribed. " Oh, that's right. Then your

values probably will be meaningful "

I took that as proof that they do know that a shot once per three weeks is a

bad idea, as compared to more frequent dosing at a lower dose.

Dr's can be clueless some times, but its not there fought. The information they

learned is what is being taught in medical school.
